He gave a interview with that bloke off the bbc on todays race and seemed to be saying that button was in a ‘much better place’ than he was, ‘his family are around him his girlfriend his dad all all happy and with him’ I thought it all sounded like a bit of a cop out from hamilton. I guess something must be going on?

The CBT is a (slightly odd) christmas pressie for her and maybe look at the wheels next year once she has done the test.
TJ the cost of insurance and clothing can be easily offset by the savings I will make in fuel not being a taxi!

My good lady is looking for a…hmm? chooses words carefuly…a bike with an engine. And reading (some) of the information on here it would seem that she should have something with a bit more than 50cc as she does need to go uphills to get to her place of work.
more googling to be done :?:

Earlier this year after a ‘consultation’ period or whitewash as it was decided before they announced the consultation, my company raised my contribution from 5% to 8% and reduced there contribution from 11% to 8% for 1 year and then next year it will alter again to 9% for me and 7% for them. My company is a global outfit owned largely by a number of German banks. I fear for the future……

Drove down to Sedbergh, with the intention of to going over to Caton then down towards Elswick. Got to Sedbergh to find out it had be cancelled. I was gutted, took my old man for a day out as he hasnt watched a stage since his mate Chisman won it back in the 60’s.
Blagged a day off work as well.

I’ve had my mondeo estate for just over 3yrs, 85k on the clock and its been fantastic, going to miss it when it goes at end of month. Replacing it with a new passat, cheaper tax ( as mentioned above) and company have speced SE model with 2ltr bluemotion engine, looking forward to the new car but feel it may be a tad smaller than the mondeo.
+1 for parking probs with mondeo it big, parking sensors on the passat( which not happy about as they are speced by company but I pick up the P11D bik on it???

No big bumps this year to keep me off the bike, but to many bad things that stopped me from riding. Heart attacks to parents, lost one still have one recovering from the attack (within the space of nine weeks), I got diagnosed with a disease (not fatal or owt just a pain to deal with), lost a good friend to a brain haemorrage, have another fighting prostrate cancer and a heart defect. Just waiting for the year to end and try to start anew. :(
I need a good start to the year, fair weather and determination to get on the bike. Got a puncture last time I was out in August and the front wheel is unchanged still, lying in the garage gathering dust.

what can they say? Look back in recent history and as soon as a party looses power and changes leadership they have nothing to say and can’t do anything as the direction of the party has failed and those at the top have no idea where to turn. I honestly think its being in government that gives them ideas, when they in opposition they are empty vessels.
FWIW there all numpties of the highest order and the less I hear from them the better

Stoner – that scorecard brings back many memories. Mostly bad, cos if you were scoring you weren’t playing and as the 16 year at my club I used to get the scorebook to often, but it was great fun

I think form at 5 & 6 is still difficult to call given the form of 1,2 &3. I like to think that for the first time in a while England have confidence running throughout the team and even if Colly’s form is not 100% the fact the team have been playing so well allows him to come to the crease with confidence (even though he can be a slow starter, ala Ponting) that and as already pointed out 20 wkts is still a dream for the aussies. The pitch was talked about as a bit green so that should mean Tremlett gets the nod although don’t discount Swann as a bloke who will hold up an end, forecasts are for hot weather and green pitches in Perth can often crumble allowing spinners to get a favourable turn, and if the pressure is on England have been hunting the aussies like a pack of hungry wolves, shame I have to go to bed now :|

I **** hate my MIL, wants to have far to much say on our lives and how we should live them. Old bag demands that every body runs round after her whilst she sits on her arse all day long watching tv, she’s like Jim Royle, bone idle and square eyed.

Now that will be a proper flaming if some of those interviewers get to tear ball baggs apart, that will be worth watching.
I thought Stella was clinging on last night, she’ll have to give it a good effort next week or she’s toast. Pleased Laura’s gone, thought she was a bit lightweight in the ‘doing anything at all’ way
How the boys won that is beyond me, they pi$$ed around in bookshops most of the day.

Sheffield is very bad at present for the white stuff, the A1/M1 round most of Yorkshire has been awful.

As a Northerner, I might be a bit upset about your (tongue in cheek) remark, but as I’ve been sat at home all week dodging work I can’t

my head office in Guildford berated me yesterday for not posting something to them on Monday, I sent them pictures of my garden and the 14-16inches of snow, which meant I couldn’t get to the office to post said item.
Reply was sent to me at 3.22pm ‘ going home now as traffic is building up as snow is starting to settle ‘
