sorry molgrips, should have said that it will last a day without the battery saver being switched on, but can be used if your running low. Mrs 101 hammers her texts and emails and walks miles with her radio playing and is still going strong by the time she gets home. Only at night does she crawl over me to plug it in, usually as i’m just dropping off to sleep

PS can you say if you’ve got a Nokia W8 phone or an HTC?

Its a Nokia. Mrs 101 is very happy with it, but she’s not really a big tech person and is happy with the way the camera works (very well) and that she can surf a bit and ring and text.

    I wont be getting a job reviewing phones…. :?

EDIT – def will last a day, you can switch on a battery saver option

The PFA award is nominated by his professional colleagues in the game, and as your not allowed to vote for people in the same club, he might see himself with a lot less votes after Sunday.

I dont think battery life on any phone is lengthy nowadays, its not something you really should consider a deal breaker.
Mrs 101 has a nokia lumia 610 windows and she uses IE not bing, although the way the phone is designed means she turns it on all the time without knowing

I’ve been overpaying for about a year, and will continue as long as I can afford it. As my mortgage is part repayment and part interest only finding an accurate calculator is difficult. I have around £65k in total left and only £30k of that is interest only. The majority will be gone before the ISA is due to payout so either way savings account or straight off the mortgage I’ll score.
    Thanks for all the input.

Thanks for that, I am standard rate tax and dont plan on taking out before the 12 months are up. £33 isnt alot your right, but my recent financal spring clean has seen me swap utility suppliers for similar amounts!
    Thanks again.

might be last year already….if the prices on ebay are anything to go by for 8 month old bikes from the post wiggins TdF, Olympic rush of bike buying public ‘only been ridden 50 miles’ ‘selling it as need to buy house’ ‘was going to get fit’ ‘now getting a road bike’ excuses are trotted out on the descriptions of shiny bikes for sale.

That said I’m ok with that as I’m looking for something for the OH, to replace stolen wheels.

Drac, my mam was a knitter and we did the ball of wool thing. But I remember watching blue peter make them from half a plastic bottle (dilute robinsons juice, but they had covered the label it being the beeb) I drank the bottle over course of a day (dry summers back then, thirsty work playing out on your grifter) and proceeded to cut up the said bottle and make one for going back to school and look cool  only for everybody else at school to have grown up and moved on…..story of my **** life

I wrote to Jimmy Saville trying to get on this show back in the day, so I’m out before I’m scarred again…

EDIT: I didnt get on, but recent events brought the pain of not getting on all back, perhaps not as much pain as there could have been, me being a fair haired freshed faced young 9 year old at the time…..

Good luck mate, our daughter is 16 in June and was born 2 lb 9oz, about 9 weeks early. She’s away in Austria this week with school skiing. She was weak as a kitten for first couple of months but little by little she got there. Its really amazing how strong they are when they are so little.

I changed over a few weeks ago after seeing my bill go up from 143pm to 162. (3 bed semi, lots of loft insulation and had that stuff in the walls) got a letter this morning from EDF telling me that I was 266 in credit and thats after the winter and after them wanting to put in up by 19pm.

Robbing barstewards all of them. check MSE for cheap energy club they have clear advice on whos charging what, I’d look at these deals that are fixed for about 18 months to help budget with things.

Def the ISA plan, think a couple can put just over £11k in per year, do the same again next week and thats £23k ish tax free and getting around 3% (which isnt a lot but all you cn get these days)

Be wary of some advice, after my mam died at New Year I found out she had been advised by her bank (northern rock) to invest £10k she had in an isa with L&G bond (not tax free, and not exactly low risk) not very happy with the whole thing and have spent some time trying to make appointments with those responsible.

    good luck

I used to share a mess with a guy who shaved the lot back and front every few days, he couldnt have any hair down stairs. I came back to the room one day from a crap shift onboard to find my mate going at his tadger with a cheap bic razor. Mistakenly I set about grabbing the razor off him thinking he was trying to chop it off and do himself in, the guy next door came into our room to find me wrestling with a naked man with hairless nads rolling on the floor.

This was in the mid 90’s and I’d never seen owt like than other than a pron movie.
I miss the Navy it was great… :?

I’d always wondered what real addiction was, then the wood threads started on here. Now I find myself turning to the wood based threads first every time I log in and find many more addicts waiting for more news and the latest photos from fellow woodists across the STW world. Is there one of those 12 point plans like there is at AA?

My name is Ian and I like wood….
