Flashy – my OH works with a women who rely’s on her botox to keep her from a permanent (natural) grimace, oddly she’s taken to self isolation and cant come to work!

I had 2 weeks off the drink due to some nasty drugs from the local hospital, I nearly threw up when my good lady had a beer, eventually normal service resumed and 3 bottles of Wold Top porter disappeared on Friday night then Saturday some Bellfield Brewery session vanished and last night a bottle of Rioja. I should give it a break during the week especially as I am riding every day

I’ve just taken my T25 westy for a spin round the block, its going sorn on Wednesday for the foreseeable. I’ll still start him up every week and do a cheeky block trip just to keep him moving, he’s 31 this year and starting to creak and groan as much as me.

Squirrel king, might have been a little bitter 5 years ago, not so much now :)
Former colleagues tell me nothing much has changed however.

SquirrelKing – your making an assumption on BOC/Linde/Praxair (whatever they are called this week) to have something in the UK that works and is serviceable for the purpose.
14 years at BOC Healthcare and every day was a miracle we supplied who we did.

Biggest issue has always been lack of capital investment in cylinders, filling plants and maintenance. One of the biggest crisis facing healthcare from BOC’s point of view for the last 10 years was the plant that created Entonox has been on its knees.

I’d like to think they would do the decent thing, but my years tell me that somewhere the board will be rubbing their hands together Monty Burns style.

As above, I kinda bought based on a recommend from a similar thread before xmas. Working well, daylight camera is really clear. Notifications are quick. The usual tree branches blowing in front of lens should be avoided.
The movement has to go across the middle of the lens view to activate, plenty of adjustable stuff regarding clip length and sensitivity on the app.

Oddly I was just going to post about shortages, my dad has been told to limit his heart tablets for a few days as there are no stocks available!

She was a great women, got my daughter a job with her whilst she was at school at Uni, 2 amazing kids who I really like thank fully they are both the double their mam so she’s always there for us all to see.

Slight hi-jack, does your local council charge for garden waste removal?

About 4 years ago mine did (Gateshead), started off at £20 for 18 collections now around £33 for 15.

EDIT – just checked they are suspended

I was impressed with this talent and thought it far more interesting than revealing the secret to your mum in later life.

Jingle – I’d never consciously noticed any balance issues before, but when riding (road) on Monday or Tuesday I did think my cornering was a bit off and was aware of that, I do often having trouble walking through an obviously open door without having a knee doorframe interface!

Jam bo – I thought it odd for it to be an ear infection, especially when they talked about water in the inner ear and balance. I haven’t been swimming for far too long and other than a shower at home nothing water related. Very strange, but very definitely the worst I’ve felt. A broken ankle kept me out of action for 3 months once and I’d have that over this!

Seems to be plenty places doing this and fair play, some of the smaller bars and taps I visit have gone down the local delivery route or bring a crowler/growler/bottle and we will fill it. Contactless only all served through the window or back door, brought out to you in the car in many cases no human contact. Seeing it all over the country.

On the other hand, I’ve just got a message from a mate in Osset who tells me his local is having a back door opening from 4-8 today for a select few people. Crazy.

I usually work from home anyway, but with work being so quiet and and the weather being so good and my colleagues being so understanding I’ve ridden my bike every day this week and I have a feeling it will continue for a while yet!

The garden is full of birds every morning singing and eating.

I can handle this for a while I think

Went to Asda last night after work, being gluten free I thought I would be safe from the panic buying madness (who would eat this stuff if they didn’t have to?) I was wrong. Most shelves down to the stuff die hard Coeliacs wouldn’t touch with a barge pole.

If its been taken by ‘normal’ folk I hope you got the shock of your life when paying for it and it tasted like cardboard when you ate it! Welcome to my world.

I get £500 a month allowance within my wages and 45ppm for the first 10k. I borrowed £12k for a yeti with 12k miles on it and pay £250pm for the car loan. Works for me just fine.

I have an Khyam easy up version, it is a bit space hogging when packed up but its a great size for sitting in and storing stuff. It is a bit of a faff to attach to the gutter rail of the van and always used to gather rain so we used to park it separate to the van. If I could post a pic I would, gave up trying circa 2007.

Apologies if this has already been done, but I’m not checking all 24 pages of this thread.

Check out a short documentary called Pandemic on NETFLIX. 1 of a series of short docs on a variety of topics. This one given it was made last year or 2018 left me cold with regards to a certain country and its attitude to managing potential pandemic outbreaks.

My only upgrades to my 4yr old MTB are new tyres, 26″ at that.

My previous mtb, a stumpy that was stolen, did at least have new tyres and grips during its ownership.

A few years back I mentioned to the BIL the killers first album (ok CD) was ok, about 2 years later and every subsequent year I got a Brandon Flowers record for my birthday. Most of them are still in cellophane wrapping. It all went wrong after Mr Brightside.

Would love to see Anna Kay win U23, her last 3 seasons have been a great progression, last couple of weeks have been tough but she will want to end the season well.
Also she’s a Gateshead lass therefore I always see her name above mine on strava segments round here.

Apparently so, yet here I am sat eating a fish finger sarnie in the house just 2 miles away.

I borrowed the OH cannondale HT years ago to collect our dogs ashes from the vet. Lots of hills and road action on a bloody hot day in June with a rather elaborate box containing a tub of cross staffy ashes made it all the way home squeezed inappropriately into a camelbak

Cougar – I’ve had 2 USB keyboards lying in the spare room for donkeys, they went on the tip/recycling run before xmas!

Will take apart again tomorrow and have a search for that part number.

Unovolo – The is an Asus C202S, apparently quite a common occurrence with this model as well.

Since I (foolishly) bought a car without DAB, I have found myself drawn to R4 during the driving trips for work. Never bothered with Humphries and the morning stuff, to much political bobbins so I try to avoid.
Do enjoy the science and health shows during the afternoon, the media show is pretty good as well. There was a moneybox live the other day all about the gig economy, very interesting.

I have a Wahoo tickr which I got with the bundle option early last year. Works well with the Wahoo app and uploads to Strava no problem. In fact I’d say having the tickr made me go to the hospital about some wild high HR’s that I was getting, I’d always just put down to lack of fitness poor warm up. Turns out was angina.
Had my first ride yesterday since late July, flat old railway line felt great and bonus the dog seems to be a bit of a trail hound!

I came down to bog standard freeview TV a few years back, started off at £42pm and is now at £53.
    TV: Player
Broadband: M100 (never got more than 51 but its enough)
Phone: Talk Weekends (only used to occasionally answer PPI calls, not sure which is the bigger scam?)

I’ve not got much interest in TV, we have Netflix but thats mostly for Jnr who lives away and weekends at the camper when I download stuff to my ipad.

For all his talk of Thatcher he was actually somebody she would have admired, he would book two gigs on the same night and he would turn up to whichever paid the most and not let the other gig know.
