Where abouts in herts legoman? For the first time in 25 years of riding there I was told off either side of one farm (north of knebworth park) by two different people last sunday.

Ullock Pike than straight down into the Dog & Gun in Keswick.

Exactly that a couple of times. Not a bad day out.

If a sofa needs cushions, it’s a bad sofa.

Correct but that came from freecycle.

This week seemed to be a bit of a filler. Last week’s was superb.

I’ve got a frame to post too. Parcelmonkey seem most reasonable (cheapest and willing to take 110x78x24 parcel) so far.

I just voted, then walking home a nail went straight through the sole of my shoe (although no blood luckily). I must have put a cross in the wrong place?

nice bike that. I wanted one a year or so back but none left in my size at the time. It was too long to wait.

Not too gate-like for a proper sized person’s bike 😉 Frame is for sale by the way…

Suggsey, if you are after a 20″ frame I am selling mine.

By the way, I can’t compare it to a steel 456 as I haver never ridden one. I can tell you the ti 456 is a hell of a lot comfier for big rides than a Chameleon though. My back thanked me.

QGIS is a brilliant piece of open source GIS kit, I use it for all my converting needs (and more). Thanks for the link, I’ll have a play with the data when I get in later.

even watching is making me wince, let alone riding it – what with all the snakes and spiders and being too easy and everything 😉

Not sure about that long drag out at the end though, that would upset a Danny Hart win surely?

Woody Harrelson was also at best average in it, he was completely out acted by Mcconaughey

I thought they balanced each other very well. Two characters of Rusty’s stature would have been overwhelming.

    Alan pardew 🙂

ooooh, you’re going to sweat it out. Maybe wear goggles, wouldn’t want phaal in the eyes.

I find a proper hot curry blocks me for a bit. Just to let you know like…

Last year I went in a bit ignorant to what to expect although got round and up every single hill (with the help of a mountain bike cassette). This year I know what to expect!…and am still not disciplined enough to train. I do plan on a couple of big rides over the next weekend or two though, should really.

Mine is about 31lb I think, it is an xl. Not the lightest but it certainly doesn’t feel heavy when riding.

I’ve got one. It’s as it was when bought so no angleset or offset bearings. The only change I’ve made is a shorter stem.

It takes abuse with ease. I am not the most hardcore of riders but I don’t mind drops, jumps, rocks etc. Its been to the Alps a couple of times, the lakes and peaks and Surrey a lot. It did me proud in the tweedlove enduro last year.

Since having I have definitely become faster. Especially on the downs. It just handles stuff with ease yet is still playful. And climbing…yeah, it can climb.

As it is my first fs bike I can’t say if the back end is stiff however I have no complaints. The carbon one is meant to be stiffer though.

I rode my old small wheeled hardtail today. That was odd 🙂

mine come loose reasonably often (every 10 rides say) and I do the above. It’s my first full susser so thought it was normal. Thinking about it headsets don’t do that do they, hmmm.

I had a nice cycle ride across town to get to the show yesterday, that was the best bit for me. I spent most of the time in the show looking for neninja to say ta for the ticket (thanks neninja, never found you, had the wrong stand number in my head). I have been going to these shows since rob warner used to dual slalom outside Earls Court. They are not as exciting anymore but still, I’m a sucker for free stickers.
