I like mine. Battery life and 64gb storage were the deal makers for me. As yet it has been fine. Not yet the latest version of android but I preferred kitkat to lollipop anyway.

Edit. Tuesdays at the moment are open buying so you don’t require an invite.

I do this, particularly the solitary horse. The bastards never wave back. However it somehow hurts less than being ignored by a cyclist.

I don’t know the route but could imagine it will take in the Lea Valley from Ware or Hertford?

Thanks. It’s a couple of years old. I bled it. No difference. I’d best send it off to be serviced.

Thanks kimbers. Bought the exact same charger you posted and now have a very revived and undead nexus. Pity I didn’t see your thread a couple of days earlier as I bought a new phone in the meantime. Although a spare is useful. Anyway, much appreciated, ta.

It might have been great but it just isn’t right is it, be honest now 😉

Thanks kimbers, did you replace the USB as well? Or just go with the mat first off?

Thanks peterfile. The nexus 4 has different levels of deadness. I am not sure how dead kimbers’ phone was.

Hmmm. Do you think a wireless charging mat could revive a very dead nexus 4?. I suspect it is very dead because the micro USB is damaged and therefore couldnt take any charge.

thread resurrection time….does anybody have an invite/invitation please? As the Nexus 5 in black and 32gb is no longer available a oneplus seems the next best option.

I managed to get a raspberry pi to do this following a few instructions from various websites if you fancy tinkering. That cost £30 for the pi.

OP – did you film this on Friday? If so glad to see you learned from “my lack of speed and not scoping for new jumps in the trail” mistake and cleared everything with ease. My shoulder is nicely cut, bruised and painful from that little incident. Nice video by the way 🙂

after someone here posted The Audio Infuser 4700[/url] last year I was inspired to try a pi for streaming music from NAS to stereo.

Finally started it this week. So far got the sound working and am able to stream from NAS to amp which I am pretty cuffed with. Next step get some sort of on off switch to work and some remote controlling so no need for mouse, keyboard and monitor. Then a nice case and maybe soundcard. And done. Fingers crossed.

Earth, Mark Lanegan Band and War on Drugs for guitarry stuff.

Machinedrum for beepy stuff and the shear fact it made me very happy even when sitting in a traffic jam. Bass, good bass.

I am surprised no SCs in it, that’s the second year in a row (possibly more but can’t remember that far back). I’m an SC fan boy though so therefore call foul play.

I am happy this has happened. I used to go to Knebworth Park which had a similar but not quite as good skate park as Romford. It was a very sad day when I turned up to see the bulldozers doing their stuff.

‘how a bicycle is made’ is ace, I did some learnings on a saturday night. Why though were the seat stays not an integral part of the frame?

    Soulcraft video next…

EDIT – Soulcraft video seen. Liked.

Just returned from Pitch and Winterfold. Quite mucky, surprised how quickly the trails have turned. I suppose there has been a lot of rain.

    Seemed extremely busy out today.

I entered the first of the Autumn series in Sport having contemplated both Sport and Open. Hadn’t been in an xc race for 20 years and was not on an xc bike which most were, also had baggies and a camelbak – I was aiming for top half, I was one place away from middle in the wrong half but I’ll take that. It was good, – I liked the challenge. The Sport field was much smaller than Open too so very few bottlenecks. I’ll stick with Sport.

Wish I was under 18, all flat muddy fields, 120 mile long stems and wheels on the ground when I was that age. Life is so unfair….tantrum time

    Good video, good riding

I had a set of Revelations where the Maxle would loosen. Oddly a bit of grease on the thread seemed to prevent it.

Lucien, I live in Camden. The good offroad riding I do mostly involves a car. Most rides I do from here are on my not fixed fixie not wearing my sisters jeans. There’s a lot to be said for pottering around town, its a big town, loads to explore, from Epping to Richmond to the the Lea valley to Soho etc. Your CX bike will do you proud. The weekends i generally use the car and go to surrey, herts, swinley or further a field. I can always be tempted out on a ride if you want.

The heckler is brilliant, the green is awesome. Enjoy. I am almost jealous (except that I am waiting on my new frame so am excited also, no need for green eyes too)
