    nice write up DavidB.

We were lucky in that we saw none of the ‘Walthamstow abuse” you encountered. In fact everyone seemed really positive towards all riders, the Essex boys egging us from their Corsas (I think it was positve), the families in their gardens shouting encouragement, and the lone old man somewhere in Suffolk ringing the final lap bell as each rider passed. The only abuse I got was a dive bombing bat that skimmed my hat.

You got to Dunwich very early. I got there about 6.30am and the stream of riders coming in was constant whilst I was there until about 8ish.

I have a Volvo 480 and it’s ace. I can’t say why because a certain Mr Hammond stole my line about it in last week’s Top Gear…but it might be something to do with pop up lights.

Mine’s a turbo so not exactly what you’re after but it’s fun, drives lovely and looks good. I won’t mention the electronics though, mine’s is mostly ok but others do seem to suffer.

I concur. It really was fun. My first ton too 😀

    now beer time

(oh, and if I have any decent photos too, by my standard, I’ll pop them up)

i think you summed it up there really. Although it all depends if Tsonga can play the way he did on wednesday again.

if (and it’s quite a big if) Tsonga plays like he did in the last three sets yesterday I can’t even see Nadal having a chance.

I’m happy for all 4 of them now left in to win. It would be good to see Murray do it though (and Lisicki in the ladies)

I agree with Markie’s sentiments on the last page.

It was quite funny watching him yesterday being interviewed alongside Rory Mcilroy. Rory Mcilroy said he and Murray shared ‘common interests’. Murray looked quite sheepish about that one.

…pity you’ve lost members, quote enjoyed the stuff you posted up before. I am still waiting for the Black Angels-esque tune 🙂

Covers. Well, if you can add something to it why not but I prefer originals.

i stayed HERE for a week. It’s South of Bairritz in a place called St Jean de Luz but to be honest it’s pretty flat north of Bairritz. It was good, right next to the sea, 20 mins walk from town and easy to get up into the hills. I reckon in July it could be really very busy though.

the wedge has probably got stuck or rusted in a bit to the forks. Is there a hole beneath the fork crown, if so and you have something that will fit in it you could try tapping it to dislodge it that way. A bit of WD40 might not hurt either.

TP, try this 60 day ArcGIS Evaluation

Also if you fancy going the open source route try this QGIS[/url] which is modeled on Arc. It is not quite as user friendly but the software and documentation are in constant development.

I do this when I’m at my dad’s as he loves it. Good fun where he is in France. Not so fun when he comes here to London though, he rummages all over the place.

Yet to do geocaching on a bike but I think if I do I shall coin the phrase velocaching

I want to get out of London that day if Elfin is going to be running around in his underpants. Therefore i’m a little bit tempted although am not in particualrly good shape. I did it last year in two days and a little sleep in the woods somewhere. 3 weeks to get fit in may be possible.

i once went the wrong way on a route in Italy which took me through a large 4km-ish A type road tunnel. It was the most terrifying thing I have done in my life (saying that I did learn to team time trial in that short time). I don’t recommend it.

a lot of the F1 drivers seem to have family around, did Perez crash because his dad was there? We see Hamilton’s girlfriend more because she is a celebrity in her own right.

Thing it, it has to be listened to from beginning to end

in the same vein (although not Doom flavoured hip hop which I must say is ace), this is a highly recommended long player
