My boyfriend has one of the 2013s and loves it, rides it everywhere, and spent a month riding it in whistler and the bike was fine, as for on singletrack there aren’t many people that can keep up with him, whatever the terrain the bike just seems to soak it up.

50% which makes perfect sense, my dad is from Bradford and my mum is from Bristol!

Did I actually just render you speechless? A singletrack first? 😯

Hora, why would that bother me?

Works fine as long as you both understand the arrangement, I’ve only done it the once lasted a couple of months, then I realised it wasn’t really what I wanted, the guy was totally cool when I called it off, we are still mates and still hang out, not weird or awkward, and definitely no hurt feelings on either side.

Definitely don’t give up, but do try to not worry about how and when it might happen again for you.

I was with a guy for 10 years, married for 3 of them, that ended, then was single for a bit, then an old friend came back into my life which turned into a bit more, that ended, single for a bit again, then a little while ago, I had to take my bike in to get fixed and I came out with a date! I have just been on my 1st holiday with the bike shop guy, it’s going well so far, but who knows what the future holds!

You shouldn’t over think things when you’re in a relationship and you shouldn’t over think them when you’re single, just have fun and see where life takes you 🙂

I was in your position a little while ago, and I found the best thing to do was every time I missed my ex remembering all the good things, I would stop myself and start to think of all the crap things he did and all the reasons I left, it helped massively, but when a relationship ends you have to give yourself time to grieve simple as that.

My Gran and my best friend both tried to end things, both thankfully were found in time. My friend was 18 and after, she finally got the help she needed, and the doctors gave her medication which she will take probably for the rest of her life, and in her own words, it’s the best thing she has ever done and she never wants to be off them.
If she hadn’t been found she would have missed some fantastic things like finding her wonderful partner and having her daughter.
Talk, to anyone, here is a good start, go to you doctor, get help, there is no shame in asking for help ever.

DT78 I don’t like needles either, I wouldn’t say it hurts just a very odd sensation, had one lot in my shoulder, I was fine till the osteopath started turning them which made me almost pass out. Then had some on my finger after I broke it and it was great, really helped. So my advice don’t look and don’t forget to breathe!

Mylands make a great oil that is heat proof and water resistant, fantastic on tables, it’s what we always used as a French polish alternative, as with all oils it will slightly affect the colour of the wood.
Your only real option for a durable finish that won’t change the colour or let it change over time is a uv resistant varnish which you can get in a matt finish if you don’t want it shiny.

My last boyfriend was like that, always talking about his ex’s many of whom he was still close friends with, it didn’t bother me, I even met a couple of them who were really nice people, but it bothered me that he then tried to keep me away from them! Some men, like some women just can’t move on, if you are having doubts then it might be best to call it a day now, in my experience doubts don’t usually go away, you just end up trying to ignore them, trust your instincts on this one if its going to be a major issue you probably already know it.

Err you’re right I haven’t been particularly constant with the pilates but even when I was going every week for about 8 months I still didn’t feel it was doing enough.

Tried the acupuncture route but not for me, I’m a wimp and passed out when they started twisting the needles. 😳

It’s pretty constant pain, but it is made worse by doing various things at work.

Cleaning – done, socks – as organised as they will ever be, no garage or loft, and the bikes are sorted. Finished all my books. Shopping – done.

Yes but I live in Australia so it’s dark here now, and I don’t have lights (and I’m a bit scared of riding in the dark)

The Hitachi’s are fantastic, got 8 years use out of mine, batteries won’t charge any longer 🙁 but I will definitely be getting another one.

Did you confess yet? It’s really the only option, well that or the facebook thing someone suggested. Either way if things go well it will just be one of those funny little stories!

My bike made it all the way to Australia, only took off the pedals. Left the rotors on just had them facing to the inside of the bag.

Had rats in the loft at my cottage, could hear them chewing and scratching at night, got a local pest control guy in and it didn’t take long for them to disappear.

I used to have all kinds of bits in the shed, tyres, shifters, mechs, bars, stems etc, but they got donated to my brother/ my parents garage when I moved to Oz.

Ha ha, I don’t know what is wrong with the creepy crawly things here but they either seem to be huge or mental or both! Was watching a spider on the ceiling last night, it kept just jumping off the ceiling and hanging down on its thread, I think it may have been trying to judge how far away I was and calculate how fast it could jump down, bite me, then run back up!

Can someone please send one to me in Australia?! I can’t find Jaffa cakes here, only disgusting imposter ones, that one giant one may just make up the serious Jaffa deficiency I am experiencing!

Some great photos zokes! The big red ute and it’s second gear lever are just itching to get out and off road!

Sounds like there is a gap in the market for a real wine/biking experience in the uk, if someone gets that sorted I might think about coming back, oh and I’ll do my best to drag the sun with me!

Adjustablewench, do it! What just happened with my ex sucks, but I love Australia, it’s a beautiful place and the people are great, and for those reasons I’m so glad I came here!

Ha ha! That tile thing is weird, not sure why anyone would do that? Hmmm Australians are a bit odd.
As for the tyre valve thing, I have no excuse, that is just absolute laziness on my part!
The yeti does have a seat post if you are worried its been stolen. And the bikes are just that clean cause there is only dust here!
Oh and although my name suggests I may be good at wheelies I am in fact terrible at them, still practicing!
