I’m guessing he just wants a bike he can ride, like new and wouldn’t want to bother having to fork out more to get it running properly.

Save yourself the headache and hassle and just tell him he wouldn’t want it, and tell him to just buy one from merlin.

    Loads . . .

But £600 generally won’t get you a good fork, which on a hardtail is very important!

Going on what Evans Cycles have on their website, the Genesis Core 20 2009 Mountain Bike, looks
decent value, been knocked down in price, it’s got a RS Tora fork which is the best of the lower end forks.
You don’t want a fork any lower down the pecking order than this.

Will depend on where you can get it from though, try and find out.

The two you have chosen aren’t great value for the money as Kona are pretty poorly specced on the value for money front.

Try and spend as much as possible!

maybe thisnice frame, decent fork, good brakes, just a bit more!

Better drop Richard Curtis a line and tell him to do something extra special for your 50p.

Tell you what, I’ll pledge a Tenner if you stop telling me what I can and can’t do!

    Can’t say fairer than that?

So it wasn’t worth support? In your eyes this was a worthless venture?

This venture hasn’t anyway in the slightest persuaded me to dig into my oft bare pockets, no!

In fact it’s had quite the opposite effect, maybe something I see tonight will have the desired effect!

So worthy of my support, no. Worthy of support in general, obviously to some yes!

If they’d have organised the trip themselves, paid for it out of their own extortionate wages and carried and cooked their own way to the top, with a couple of guides, a doctor and a hand held camera to recored their adventures . . .

. . . . that would be worth supporting and would be a lot more interesting!

Perry announces we have a new presenter Ortis Deley . . .

I say to the missus, “christ looks like Kat Deeley is getting her brother in on the act now”!

The next second, Ortis appears and I realise my mistake, the look of disgust on the missus’s face was priceless!

Apparently we stood next to him at the V-festival and I should have known who the hell he was!!

Been through it countless times, you’ve always got more time than you think to find the right one, and the more experience’s you have, the more you’ll know which are worth bothering with and which aren’t.

You need to put trust in your instincts which can be difficult!

Listen to TWP’s Seamonsters that’ll sort you out!!

Takes me about 25mins on a 18 mile commute on A, B and minor roads.

If I was having to travel the other way at that time of the morning though it would be nearer 50 mins.

You need to find out how busy it gets on the route both ways at what time you’ll be doing it.
