I’d suggest jnct 15 M6 – Get on the A519 follow it to Eccelshall and beyond, and then turn left before Woodseaves- cross country (Gnosall Rd) via Gnosall, keep going south on lanes – eventually you’ll pop out on the road, just up from Weston Park. I’d write it on paper not satnav though!!

I’d like to sell bikes, not much good as a mechanic, but could work on it.

I’d assume the going rate for sales staff would be pretty low first off, I mean I’d love the job, but taking a pay cut would be tough to swallow.

MM is great, . . . the only thing that let’s it down is the actual quality of the riding.

I’m sure that if they could move this event to Cannock Chase, they would have done it by now, a size restriction holds that back i should imagine, . . room for the main area, but where would everyone camp?

It’s been a few years since i’ve been, but in those few years this event has grown, more trade stands, more food stands, more spectators, more camping, . . it’s massive.

It’s not easy to find somewhere that can acommodate everything.

Better riding 24hr events exist, so it’s not like there isn’t a choice.

Disk brakes would be my suggestion, they would I suggest give you the most dramatic improvement.

I’d get yourself some good solid stoppers second hand, should be able to get some for about £100. Could be tempting to get some slightly older brakes as to keep the slightly retro feel?

I’d get quite a kick out of seeing an old Judy up front, so I’d stick with it, unless it’s really bothering you?
