the standard dark chocolate at lidl about 33p is 50 per cent cocoa and is nice enough for me, grate it into half cooked pancake, ice cream and strawberries on top with glob of honey….yum!

unfortunately 99.9 per cent of motorists are more concerned with getting past without a hold-up, than the potential safety benefits that two abreast brings.

My parents were both very young during the war, and of course rationing was in and grandad was probably drinking and smoking a fair bit, so money was tight, so any food they had got eaten and finished.

We were brought up the same, i always finished everything, still pretty much do. The missus calls me Mr Yummy because she says everything I eat i seem to enjoy! ps. i’ve never been fitter and in better shape than i am at the moment.

cheers bab,…i did say not wales, but looks interesting? We stayed in wales near cadaer itself two years ago and the midge count was high. So she is determined no midges, so if i mention wales the red mist descends! :|

ps. my mates missus walked out on him last year after they had been together for over 25 years, since they were teenagers. Married for plus 20 years. two kids, one with type 1 diabetes, who needs constant monitoring.

todays 100k was pleasant in that respect. the few who didn’t i just mutter ‘ow **** off ignorant ****’ under my breath :D

i live over 100 miles away from my OH. I thought about her a few times today whilst i did 100 k on the road bike. We see each other about twice a month on average – we very rarely argue, there is a bit of strain because i need to make things happen to get to live with her.

But i enjoyed my ride, i just enjoyed a cold oak aged vintage cider and am chilling out.

I was in town this afternoon and i walked passed a chav couple twice in the space of ten minutes, they were arguing with each other both times.

It just isn’t worth it.

You don’t say who split from who or if it was a joint decision?

If i was you i would just do your own thing for a while, don’t bother with a relationship yet. Enjoy the summer, go ride, do out with some mates, do something you’ve been putting off.

If it is meant to be SHE will want you back.

then someone informed me it wasn’t him driving, but heck it still makes sense and people understand it.

driving from wells-next-the-sea to cromer on Saturday and the local steam train passed right over us on a small bridge as we went under it, couldn’t have timed it any better!
