Route will be Sharphaw, down through flasby, hetton on the road, up rylstone moor, cut accross to Embsay crag, past the res, pub stop at the elm tree (1/1:30 I'd guess with a group) onto halton east, up halton green, down to bolton abbey through the woods, up to draughton, back to skipton via the roman road.

Pace will be relaxed, I'm not as fit as I'd like + the route splits into 2 nicely. If you did the first half you can always finish after the pub, or start the ride at the pub?

Aireville now has a 3 hour limit for parking, since the HML building was put up. Anything over 3 hours is £8 8O – Not sure if they check how long cars have been there but with the way craven dc likes to make money it wouldn't suprise me if it's well policed.

Right meeting point has been choosen, sat nav users can use the postcode BD23 1LQ. Non sat nav users need to get to Coach Street car park, Skipton. It's pay and display and will cost you £4.20 for the day.

Alternatively if you're too tight to pay for parking you can find various residential streets off either Gargrave road or Water street on the map below.

The post code will take you to the blue dot on the map below (sign posted tourist information) We'll all meet up at the red dot (sign posted canal basin) This is starting to sound like one of those comedy hitler videos on youtube

Aim to meet for 10, leaving at 10:30

I'll confirm the meeting place by tomorrow, looks like we'll need a pay and display car park with the numbers attending.

Route may change slightly. I rode pushed/plugged through some of it on Sunday. Parts of the moors now resemble winter riding conditions…prays for sunshine….

Agreed you shouldn't leave a baby to cry itself to sleep if it's hungry, in pain, needs nappy change etc BUT sometime they cry because they don't want to be in bed and want cuddles etc. If you go down the route of cuddling your baby to sleep everynight you'll get into the position where they always need a cuddle to sleep. Babies need to learn to self sooth IF all other reasons for crying have been eliminated.

On the breast feeding front one of the most useful things our midwife taught us was dream feeding, basically you can feed and wind a baby without waking it up. Works wonders!

MB – Its upto you and how you are with your family/friends but don't grit your teeth too much, visitors caused me and the wife more falling out than anything else in the first few days. It can be hard to tell your mum it's time to go when it's her first grandchild but they do understand.

Steriliser – get an electric steam one, the supermarkets usually have either the tommy tippee or philips one on offer including 3 bottles. Think we got ours for about £20 but keep the receipt they can be prone to packing in after 9-10 months.

I was like you thinking its all natural who needs a book BUT the best money we ever spent was on the books below. At 4 months thanks to the sleeping plan in the first book we could get 12 hours a night if we wanted it.

Depending on the facilities your hospital has? we paid extra for a private room on the baby ward. It made the first hours with our new born so much more special. Being able to have privacy and quiet were brilliant. Think it cost us £30/40 a night.

Unless labels are important to you, don't bother with all these designer baby brands for clothing. Tesco/asda/sainsburys clothing is just as good and sometimes better than clothing we've had from Mamas & Papas/Mothercare etc. That and when you see some clothing get worn 2-3 times before it's too small.

+1 missingfrontallobe says – Also don't be afraid to turn people away at the door when random not seen for years distant family members turn up in the first few days home. Mum and baby take priority over everything else in the first few weeks, you need to play the part of minder in the hospital and at home. In the hospital you need to make sure mum gets what she wants and needs, even if that means telling the nurses how you want things done! When you get home you'll need to enforce rules when people come, how long they stay etc.

No pics to hand sry. But yes mounting bracket sandwiches between the towball and towbar arm/plate using the 2 bolts. Rack then slides into a square mounting hole on the mounting bracket.

Top guy and a top quality rack. Best to phone him, even then he can be hard to get hold of as he does some mega miles on his road bike (not bad considering I think he's in his late ish 60's) He runs the business from home so it's not like dealing with a shop etc.

I can't see myself ever having to change this rack it looks like it will last forever. Proper good old fashioned British engineering. None of this plastic and aluminum rubbish.

I've done the obvious cable rub areas.

I have the aiston rack, I can't see anyway you could fit it to a removable towbar as the bracket that gets left on the car when the rack is removed fastens behind the towball. Same idea as this pendle rack http://www.pendle-bike.co.uk/shopping/Behind-the-Ball-Mounting-4-Bike-Rack.php

Unless you could get someone to fabricate you a bar that fitted into the removable towbar fitting on the car and provided you with the two bolt holes required? Sounds like alot of work to me, you might be better with a thule or similar that fits onto the towball? The alternative would be to have a fixed towbar and not have the towball fitted?
