I’ve got another couple of loads ready to collect once the stove is running. We’ll also be committing the ultimate sin and burn *some coal.

Our HETAS supplier/installer say monoxide alarm is required to get the stove install signed off.

OMIN we don’t have a chimney, we’re having a flue run straight off the stove up through the attic and out the roof. Not cheap but will give a nice straight run for smoke and cleaning it.

Avon Ice Touring STs here – http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Avon/Ice-Touring-ST.htm

Really good tyre so far, only had them on 2 weeks, great grip in damp conditions and we’ve gained 5mpg by dropping to 16″ wheels.

    Paid £270 fitted for 205/55/16

Thanks for the replies so far guys.

Boiler is a 12 year old baxi floor mounted job, it has loads of life left in it so I don't see the point in swapping it out if I can reduce it's usage and work load.

What make and size of thermal store is that Stoner? Did you get someone in to design the system or is it something you've spec'd yourself?

Hi TG, didn't get your email. Did you use the one in my profile?

Want to send it again? I have some news on what we spoke about during the Skipton ride.

    Cheers Stu

    Thanks for the replies guys.

Looking for someone to have a lookover a property I'm buying. Also want to know about taking a wall out.

It would be good to get someone in on a cash in hand basis rather than pay a fortune to a big company……

I think the LBS in skipton had Ragley Blue pigs built up for around that kind of money. Great bike!

My BP with dual air revs, xt wheels and mainly xt drivetrain comes in around 28lb I think I could loose another 1 lb – 1 1/2 lb for £100 ish….

That said I'm not too bothered about the weight. My last HT weighed 26lb and I can't tell a big difference.

If you get stuck I'm going to be selling a nearly new complete FSA ORBIT XL II headset soon. It was fitted to my blue pig for about a week but for some reason the bottom cup was slightly bigger than the bearing meaning there was a very slight knock. As I'd bought it from an ebay bike shop I couldn't be bothered trying to return it.

So for £9 posted you can have a full headset which you can use for spare bearings etc.

    Thanks for that TG.

We won't coming down the crag we'll be sticking to the BW into Eastby. The bracken on both sides of the crag is too thick/high to ride.

Thats a shame Tony, give us a shout if you want to head over to Skipton another time and I'll show you around.

Everyone is welcome, this is a social ride, it's as much about the people that come as the trails we ride.

Hopefully nobody will miss this post!

Well spotted Trout that'll teach me for not reading the sign properly, I've spoken to the swimming pool and confirmed parking at the weekend is free!

Satnav users need to use the post code – BD23 1UD

None sat nave users need to make their way to Gargrave road, Skipton and you'll see signs for the swimming pool.

We'll aim to meet at the top of the carpark for 10, setting off for 10:30

Lowey if you head up Gargrave road, away from skipton there are 6-7 residential streets to the left and right, it's all non permit parking in skipton so you'll find somewhere.
