    @trail_rat and @infidel,

    What did you use to secure the rail into your wooden rafters. I think I could get 6x wood screws into 5x ceiling beams. Reckon this would be ok with 60kg of bikes plus the weight of the rail and rollers?

    I have a 2018 whyte s150 with the 35mm revelations and I’ve upgraded the damper and air spring recently. It’s made a huge difference. I’m afraid to say I bought it from a German site rather than my LBS but it came out a lot cheaper than buying in uk and I had all the tools and grease/oil to fit it myself. About £250 all in inc some new wiper seals and foam rings. Plenty of videos how to do it online.

    I used spring 00.4019.931.001 and charger 2.1 rc2 damper 00.4020.169.005. The damper has adjustable hsc and lsc rather than just the 3 positions of the rct3.

    Also I think there is a 2020 air spring if that 2019 part number is no longer available.

    I had this recently on gx eagle and think the source was grit and dirt between chainring bolts and the chainring.

    I spent a fair bit of time trying to isolate the problem and in the end I did take bb, cranks and chainrings all off for a thorough degrease and clean to be totally sure though. I liberally greased the bb threads and used threadlocker on the chainring bolts and a fair bit of grease on the crank spline. Non drive crank arm bolt itself didn’t need any grease, just 54nm torque.
