105 & open pros? I got some from here. Fine for a bit of canal path too. Or look at his Ambrosio combos or Ultegra. Good value.

That link is to DAve Hinde's e-bay shop, Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.

The Welfare State was conceived as a safety net, but from my own contacts with some benefit claimants tis more a fishing net. 😥

Good luck all those doing it hope the weather is pretty, although both years i rained on hard between Hardknot and Wrynose.

Thankyou for the replies, they are UK citizens not that this as rightly pointed out should make any difference.

Sorry mate – that came out wrong. As a parent I know I don't have to tell you to worry about your kids. Hope that you can forgive the insensitivity of that remark.

My skin is thicker than to take offence at your reply my dilema is it doesn't sit well with me to employ people without paid holidays and being self employed all my working life employment law i have no knowledge of.

id be suspect if they are paying NI and income tax – and then id also be suspect about what other important things they are not doing .

not only that if the girls aint paying NI or income tax over a long period it could make life difficult later on

Maybe i haven't posed the question very well but as far as i'm aware the tax and NI contributions are all paid up, my question was wether it is legal to employ someone without a contract and not allow them paid leave.

The permits have gone up to £20 now. That's a bit steep, I can see a rise in unlicensed riding and that will cause the wardens to come out in force and start confiscating bikes.

Under what authority/law would this be possible?

As far as i'm aware, i have the flimiest of connections to shipping containers.

A deep sea container shipped from China will have been booked by a broker yonks ago so the cost to them is set then , because the space on a ship for container will have to have been booked prices set then not now.

Think they're spinning a yawn (sounds like they've cocked-up) to profiteer from your ignorance, is the container already on route or still at port?

Ask these fellas:http://www.orionshipping.co.uk/deepsea.aspx, i've no connection to them but might be worth asking.

Was this the variable speed limit section?

If it was, hope you both get a ban for both driving like strokers?

I also drive 20,000 miles per annum and i'm sick to death of sharing the
road with drivers like you two

So does that mean the Turbo's stronger and will not go bit confused by your reply as you also state turbo's going on T5's. My experience is just that my T4 turbo blown at 154,00 with FSH 🙂

Just replacing my turbo at 154,000 but on a T4 i'm the second owner it has FSH, but probably a better bet than say a Vivaro.

if you owned a bike shop, and someone phoned up with a build list/spec, and a member of your staff talked to the customer, and promised to get back with a price within a couple of hours and never did……….
as the owner of the shop how would you feel if you found out.

is it common courtesy to get back to the customer??

I'd give the chap the benefit of the doubt he could have written down your phone number only to mislay your phone number/someelse throws away.

+1 for Tignes both skied and boarded there for a fair few years, if you're on a budget and not fussed about nightlife try Le Breviere below the dam but it's a chore in the morning getting up to Tignes itself.

    Running impact sport

    Cycling non impact

Given choice i rather a Century ride, than a Marathon

Having done both on a few occasions, if you are stuck for time then running it is although my favourite is indoor rowing.

Surely she doesn't have to worry too much about loo breaks then, the pads will catch most of it.

Too proud to wear those, her orignal idea was to wee in the potted plants but was worried they'd whither. 😛

Where's the shop and is yer mum fit?

    fit for a 70 year old. 😆

    skidartist – Member

Plenty of people work on their own – taxi drivers, truck drivers, snipers, paper boys. So being alone isn't an issue, but breaks are, and in some lines of work, like truck driving, they are not just on offer they are enforced

Cheers for that thought there must be something about statutory breaks but obviously not i'll just tell me Mum to MmTFU

have parked at the war cem car park for about 5 years worth of night riding 2-3 nights a week, never had any trouble at all (touch wood)

What do you drive….an armoured car 🙂

    wellhung

I usually park at the main car park (where we pay) near the bike shop (if i've got that right?). I've only ever been about 4 times in the day.

Sometimes I have parked at one of the small cluster parking areas around cannock just off the housing estate. But I feel uncomfortable parking in these at night due to their dogging reputations!

Crumbs you're brave i wouldn't/don't park anywhere other than Birches Valley by the bike shop (Swynos) Milford Common paying car park or Mammoth Lifestyles carpark Milford also.

    There's just too much thieving.

If you're going to park at Birches Valley i think they lock the gates for the night but i'm not certain.

In the case of a work colleague forever he died of complications a few days later grim very grim.

Good Luck though the thought of a needle anywhere near the downstairs hanging bag is a no no for me 😯
