Never had an issue with Royal Mail when i get a card through my door just pop up the road to the sorting office pick up parcel. But with the other parcel networks whose hubs are bleeding miles away (City Link) i have major issues with.

So that’ll be ten then. I tend to hoard them as selling big bikes is not hugely easy. I own the Mrs’ bike really as well as i bought it in the hope she’d ride it which she very rarely does.

Thankyou indeed MrTall thats exactly how to get round the SO i’ll tell all the bikes i ride were actually bought for her, the plan is foolproof………

Also BMW’s are generally very heavy for their size, full of trick kit and safety gadgets – any acceleration trashes economy in them.

A mate was complaining yesterday that his 2.5lt BMW estate only averages 27mpg (3 series I think, 3 years old had it from new and it’s always been this bad) and his commute is a 15 mile trip with 65% dual carriageway. Not happy.

Crumbs my 10 year old 520(petrol auto) tourer gets 32mpg

“Lotus has donated one of its Evora sports cars to the traffic cops operating in the West Midlands.

it’s not a permanent fixture, as Lotus has loaned the car to the force, so it will only be on the beat for two weeks as part of a trial.

Drivers can expect to see the Evora patrolling the M5, M6 and M42 motorways as well as the M6 toll road.”

Can’t say as I’m shocked, people habitually do silly speeds down the M6 Toll Road because they can (there’s an urban myth that it can’t be policed due to it being ‘private’, and it’s usually a very clear stretch of flat road). I’ve been overtaken many times like I’ve been stood still. If you’re one of those people, stop it!

Yes they do Police it as it’s about the only stretch of motorway in the Staffordshire/West Midlands area to speed on. Police tend to be on the South side of the toll by the Steel canal bridge with a radar gun allegedly.

Sorry if your question has been answered better further up but i’m not reading all the replies.

We had a problem with our elderly neighbour a few years back, she hated us with a passion as did her relatives, a few arguments over hedge clippings every once in a while.

But her TV drove us insane she had it sooooooo loud you could here everthing she watched put up with it for 5 years or so, but when the little uns arrived we were having none of it. Spoke to her and relatives about it but they didn’t want to know told us it was our problem.

Got onto to Council Enviroment Officer, Council sorted it within 2 weeks, as you don’t get on with anyway you’ve nothing to loose and it would save you the expense of soundproofing.

You really don’t want to be taking it to a violent level unless obviously he starts it.

    Good Luck

Not that much, and it’s only really when I first get up, think I picked up an infection on the way too, so it’s about 5ml or so, mixed in with sticky yellow mucus. Always panic a little bit when I see blood come up from my lungs.

Once again, sorry to those tucking into bacon sarnies.

Put me right off me yoghurt 😛

Because it is claimed by some that during a war you shouldn’t do material damage to the enemy, or something very similar to that theory.

Drawing Pins is walkers, not dog owners or other trail users. Ramblers should be shot on sight.

I know it would be Ramblers/Walkers, i was being sarcastic about the Dogs and Dogwalkers as i'm not a fanboy of them.

Ramblers should be pitied not shot IMHO 😆

I'm going the other way, lightest tyre I can get away wit that are still usable. Did have some furious freds 300g for a 29er tyre….bloody terrifying on the chase in the gravel corners

I've settled for kenda karmas at the moment 495g for a 1.9 that comes up more like a 2.1.

I use them there Fast Freddies on my 26er on the Chase thought it was me being a puff on the gravel corners relieved it's the tyres then, thought i needed to harden up. 😛
