My brother in law works at the local sainsburys, they took £11k in cheese on the night before Xmas eve. Weez doomed.

Drove wife to her family get together. Left early to get tired kids to bed. Wife drowning out the lacklustre warbling on Jools Tootingfanny thing. Bed sooooon!

The beeb are fighting for the glamour stakes to rival sky. Their fawning coverage of the royal baby was a shocker..

To ride more than the five times I did this year due to work, kids, house move and work.

Just had one chimney done £1000 inc scaffold. Gulp.

Went to Shrewsbury to see Sleeping Beauty and spent all but 10 minutes on the landing with a crying 4 year old.

Moved into a new house on November 4th so everything not quite imposition, spent ages in the self storage container trying to find the decorations and stockings, finished work, opened wine only to find the main electrical feed into the house was sparking and shorted out soon after. The repair men were great and got us up and running in a couple of hours. Christmas Day I cooked for 9, quite stressful and me and the missus had the only seasonal argument over unloading the dishwasher. The victims were a glass and some mash potato. We made up in five minutes.
Had a tiring day but the kids had a great time.
Boxing Day was great, no family around so it was walk, lego and wine.
Today we were woken to a leak in the kitchen ceiling and a blocked drain.
I wasn’t going to drink but I am now.

Saw some great photos of a friend and colleague, who has terminal cancer, being taken on a small boat over the Froncyllte Aquaduct. His close mates chipped in and bought the boat, wore sailor outfits and got him a captains hat!
Made my day seeing that and put my petty wining into perspective.

A good friend of mine was in The Monocled Mutineer when it was filmed at Nesscliffe army camp. I’ve been on telly.

I had some Aldi salt and shake with no little blue bags. The kids were disappointed…

My forks are 2001, the frame is 2007, some 2nd hand bits, ie pedals, bars, stem. New seat and post. Still brings a smile despite its cronkyness.

Just put some filler on the wall so earns a drink… Settling down with a nice fruity white wine.. Then gin. Then more wine.

I can’t even ride that fast down a hill on two wheels on the road bike, never mind one firkin backwards. Great stuff. GWSMA

I would overly worry about it, don’t let it ruin your Xmas/marriage/life. It’s one night, if you trust her, get on with it and let her go. I’d relish sitting there with some days banked watching war films.
