Will the price likely go up for those who don’t pre-order?

Why would you pay more for something which does EXACTLY the same job?

Do you like picturing the smug brand name owners laughing their way to the bank after having stamped their name into an item made in the same chinese factory as something half the price…

Oh and I’m a tight fisted cornishman 😆

email in profile is correct bud,

I am aware that £650 is an insult slightly low, I’m just too polite to say.

I have until june when the Stanton Sherpa’s are released…so lots of time to split/get good money.

Thanks though, I appreciate your opinions (hence the thread)

The rims are like new but they are very cheap ‘ICE’ 700c wheels, £50 pair.

Do you think the cheaper rim material/design may be causing the excessive wear? The stopping power is quite impressive 😆 but everything else is rubbish, true them every other day and having to rebuild due to rusting spokes and crumbling nipples after 6 months

it’s unlikely that brake fluid has actually leaked out unless the bleed ports look moist…?

air expands when the fluid gets hot

also don’t forget to remove the air from the brake fluid before you bleed.

you will need either the ‘bucket kit’:
    20.99 from evans full kit

    or: epic bleed solutions kit[/url]

    or, make your own:
    bleed bucket
    +oil
    +hose
    +any old syringe

Def air (poss in the lever reservoir as it shifts when at dif angles)

sounds like the pads are ALSO contaminated so:

    -remove pads
-clean rotor iso. alcohol and heat (even both sides)
    – file a good couple mm off each pad until they have the same surface look as a new pad does (sand paper just isn’t man enough to get deep enough)
    – next roast the pads! heat gun is ace, get them really hot!
    -refit everything
-bed in the pads (brake to a stop repeatedly about 30 times, you will feel the brake force increase with each stop

These (ebay) are excellent have one myself and bought three for a local group, bargain for the price.

Highly recommend one with a lever not a knob to open/close the clamp, so much easier to use with one hand while the bike is in the other
