Yes their MOR stuff was shocking, all went tits up after Holy Bible which was class. They really should give up now and come back to the valleys, sit in the local workingmens club and sup some warm ale and reflect on their early better days, I’ll buy them a pint.

heard a few of the new songs on jools (annoying) holland the other night, it was better than the MOR stuff but still didn’t really have a buzz to it.

Our local ASDA is not much better but has a good fish counter and deli…

But you cannot beat Sainsburys, lots more eye candy, own brand stuff is much better, has lots more ‘buy one get one free offers’ and contrary to popular belief is not more expensive that ASDA or Tesco if you look properly, also has loads more ‘world wide beers’ and they continually change them.

a new motorbike shop opened up near where i live and i’ve been going in there every week drooling… they had one of these in there and they were all raving about it….

years ago my wife was cut up and the guy got out of the car and hammered on her window, she had to reverse back and drive off.

anyway the point being she reported it and gave the police the car reg, the idiot even had his local council name tag on and driving the works van. they actually called round and had a ‘word in his ear’, then called her back and asked if she wanted to take it further…

i was with BT and went with sky to get sky + with the phone and broadband. service has been great, no complaints.

dell are one of the best IMO bought servers, PC’s laptops over the years and had no problems, its all the marketing “buy insurance crap” that comes afterwards that winds me up.

im still a fan of 28 Days Later, was blown away at the cinema when i saw that. its the freaky bits like the ‘blocked off motorway’ and empty streets that you never see freaked me out and added to the ‘tension’.

i can remember watching ‘Salem’s Lot’ when i was about 10, my older cousin put it on for a laugh, screwed me right up for months after, the bit where the guy is in hospital and the vampire outside tapping on the window……

i used to use ‘proper’ bars and ‘proper’ drink, now its just elevens bars and water with a bit of salt in it… same effect and alot cheaper.

there are no good horror films about these days…

It’s early days but I had a vision the other night that I have to get out of here before I really sign my life away in a job I hate..

I’m based in south wales, 34 in may, married but no kids, the wife is 110% behind me. I’m going to call the local NHS later just to see what they say, also the wife’s old school mate works in the local ambulance call centre so she should know the score, said i could pop in have a chat.

From the basic research I’ve done (Very conflicting on the web) its a long drawn out interview/test process, then 4-6 weeks driver training, then 3 months at Swansea uni, then if there are places you are sent as a technician for roughly 12-18 months with continuous training and testing. There’s no guarantees I may fall at the first hurdle but as i said I have to start the ball rolling, they are taking on at the moment ‘apparently’
