we are a small firm about 11 office staff (havent got funds for big fancy proxy servers etc). when i started ages ago i said (from past IT job experience) you really shouldnt have open access for the internet.

we have had problems in the past but nipped them in the bud, it wasnt porn just facebook MSN etc.

lay the law down early to both sets of parents (can be hard if they are paying 😉 ) i had to bite my tongue a bit as aunty joan that i hadnt seen for 10 years HAD to come, uncle franks dog that i'd never met HAD to come (you get the drift)

it is YOUR day….. for us our mates were far more important than distant family/parents mates that i hadnt seen for over 10 years…

also i wouldnt have paid for a proper photographer as to be honest i dont think we've even looked at the photos since the wedding (i dont even know wher they are!! 😯 just get a trusted mate who can take a tidy photo to do the honours.

my old school mate is like that…

Honda Varadero 125 XL

£1,800 with 6k on the clock, past my CBT this itme last year and used it pretty much every day since for the commute, its good because its quite a big bike and you sit way higher than the piece of crap CG i did the CBT on.

i couldnt afford the £500 for the DAS either, the 125 is fine for work, when the 2 years are up i'll just do the CBT again. no point in me passing the test really as i havent got the bike bug and dont think i ever will.

had a go on my brothers Tiger 1100 the other week and sh*t myself with how fast it was, nearly lost it on a roundabout.

most other 125 are too small and you'll be blown all over the shop.

heres mine the day she was born…

I'm 5'9" 17" frame, 50mm stem, they are compact but you can chuck it around, the 100mm Rebas have gone and stuck on 140mm Vans which have transformed it.

This is a 2008 frame, recently had trouble with the slidy dropout problem (bolts breaking) don't let that put you off orange have new designed dropouts on the new frames (3 bolts not 2)

and one can look out the window at work

easier said than done when your portakabin office window looks out onto the warehouse internal wall 3 foot away!!

bloke in work suffers from SAD quite bad, i never, ever used to get moody in the winter but last year (when we moved offices into the prison cell) i really did start to suffer.

no natural light all day or fresh air, unless you go for a walk

anyway I'm looking at getting one of those lights, they are suppose to work, you can get lamp ones that sit on a desk.
