had a similar problem on the wifes 1.6tdci (pug engine) on her fiesta.

limp mode, lack of power…

turned out the fuel filter i had changed had a hair line crack in the plastic and was letting fuel out causing air in the system

changed it for another one, sorted.

maybe worth a look?!

last dull questions, how does it work with the number/going to another provider.

someone told me i just sign up with mobiles.co.uk on say 02, get the PUC code off existing vodafone, give PUC to 02 and away you go.

then vodafone after issuing the PUC will automatically stop the contract and send me final bill with any outstanding.

aaahh just remembered, i can UPGRADE on 8th december but the actual contract finishes with vodafone on 21st Feb.

With DNLA streaming and the ability to play any type of video files it’s also a much better all round media box.

has an update fixed this then, a mate who got one at launch was going mad as he couldnt watch ‘COUGH’ films he copied onto a usb stick and they wouldnt play like they did on the ps3?

Hmmm food for thought, just double checked and my contract with vodafone aint up till 8th December,

So…. these companies are just middle men, all the direct debt, contract etc etc all goes through the carrier 02, etc etc?

Did you loose your number? So if i took a contract out with 02 and dumped vodafone I take it i have a choice of porting or keeping the new number?

Most of the bad reviews of the companies seem to stem from customer service when you ring up for a problem, non delivery etc.

When you say filter o ring, I assume you mean the o ring that’s on the heater module you take off old filter and fit to new?

I think it had two red/orange o rings… But ill get older filter out of bin later!

my old pug 306 went into meltdown once, started doing loads of mad stuff, central locking working one day, not the next, random lights on dash going mad, stereo turning on/off by itself… turned out it was the battery.

mind you i guess 90’s pug and electrics should be said in the same sentence!
