i cannot believe they still have this problem in the cold, i had an 06 stumpy and it stuck down 3 times in cold weather, if you go onto bikemagic there are hundreds of posts on this.

fox said it was the seals years ago and it was going to be fixed… i guess not!! the seals used was too brittle and slipped over a doodawhatsit and let the air into the chamber (or words to that effect)

maybe very slim chance i reckon, as above, there will be 300 internal people going for it and by law they have to advertise ‘outside’ 😉

my cousin works in the local council, he has tried to get me in there for the last 4 years, ive had countless interviews. he was actually told i beat many internal candidates hands down but they kept it internal.

ive checked the pressure and its fine, when it goes out you can hear a fan type noise but no flame.

sods law the heatig has been on since 7am and it hasnt gone out….

were being paranoid but prevention better than cure, i did call the plumber guy again he said it is a needle in a haystack to diagnose but is calling round next week to give it a good clean/mini service.
