if you go onto the golfgti forum and search there is a guy that mashed up a brand new R32 Golf, he sued the local council and get a full pay out.

as mr fanylion said, this guys took photos, measurements etc

    so it can be done

As stated Brian Moore is just as bad if not worse…. Davies can be very condescending but they both know their stuff and our bound to be impartial 😉

I don’t think we’ll do the grand slam again this year, it will all be down to points and how much teams stick on poor Italy. Ireland will be Wales stumbling block but then again its a home game!

Wales are getting there but a long way to go still not clinical enough and only taking advantage of other teams mistakes, jones should have sunk a load more kicks.

then again what do i know!!

my father died of cancer 2 years ago, started with prostrate which they told me and my brother was heireditary but not to worry until we hit 40.

i think there is a kind of ‘Bupa’ type program you can sign up for ‘at a cost’ where you can have regular MRI/CAT scans private.

yeah i think that may be the way to go to be honest, purely to ‘get back in’ to education etc and see how it goes.

cheers all again, much food for thought.

at the moment i do a bit of everything in work, technical sales/support, dabble in CAD, electrics etc. have a hands on part in the whole operation from sheet steel right through to the end product.

the open university may be a better route you can basically ‘make up your degree’ dont know how mickey mouse they are though.

cheers for that, just done a bit of re-search and it seems quite hard to actually do it part time. i think i may need ot go down the HND route taking it all into account then see what happens.

I reckon you’ll do the downhill loads quicker in the dark – once you see the indicators flashing and hear the distant pitch of your car alarm coming from car park as some pikey git is searching for car for stuff that is!

    😆

    I’m a poof 🙁

you could easily do it in the night but it would be more fun if you did it in the light and sussed out the cool bits.

depends how mad/fast you are…. chances are if you do yourself in there will be somebody else doing a nightride to call for help for you 😉

personally and talking form a common sense point of view I would do it in daylight first.

CBT is tougher than you think ‘on the road’, quite fekin scary to be honest ‘if’ you have never ridden a motorbike before, but with some common sense you will be ok. our school was very good there are some real cowboy outfits though so do some research

i did mine about 3 months ago. i have commuted a good bit since and the confidence has come on loads, its a mad world out there just get as much practice as you can.

i have a 125 Varadero which would not be good for the use you want, im going to do my test in a few months but do it on my 125, then ride it for 2 years then upgrade or just get a bigger restricted bike for the 2 years.

at the moment it’s purely commuting with me, havent got the bike bug to be honest.

its great fun though but can be fekin scary with some of the nutters on the road. its totally opens your eyes up, very strange riding the bike to work all week then using the wifes car!

a light coating on the ground here in s.wales, COME ON SNOW DAMN YOU!!!

think the worst of it is coming late afternoon.

From what little I know of publishing, if you submit “snow” pics in (say) autumn, they’re more likely to get published, as what with lead times and all that you don’t want to be emailing wintery pics when the mag’s theme is “bounding into spring” or whatever..

Of course, I could be spouting absolute cobblers.

    😆

We have Sky + only had it about a year and cannot believe we didn’t get it before, its so simple to series link and record, customer service has been top notch when we have had to call, we got our broadband and phone with them and saved loads.

My mate has Virgin and the interface is not as good as sky and its slower and he is constantly having to re-boot, but he might have a crap connection.

Whichever way you go, you’ll never watch 95% of the channnels anyway.

I have to agree 100% with that!

    it’s the NME’s fault, they plaud cr*p!

another classic example are the manic street preachers, first album was classic considering they were late teens, just listen to the guitars! second album gold against the soul was up its own a*rse but still a good few tracks, holy bible was mad then its all gone down hill!

cheers all…. common sense i guess DOH!

you think they would highlight it and make it more obvious, you get a lovely CD manual and it mentions **** all about the coloured springs.

I’m 13.5 and the stock spring seems too stiff but i guess the forks needs to ‘bed in’ a bit

was never funny after series 3

i agree, there were some classic bits in the later series but you could not beat the constant madness of the first 3…

jaysus i can remember being in the ‘red dwarf clique’ in school talking about the previous night episode! bet craig charles will large it right up, bet he’s cutting holes in his coke cans already!

i had two at mine, no problem at all.

don’t stick to all the ‘ye olde’ wedding bollox, do what YOU want to do.

it was great, one did a sincere speech of how great i was and the wife and the other did a ‘story of our younger days” type speech.

one was an old school friend who i kept in touch with when i moved to Ireland, the other was my best mate from my Ireland days

IT’S YOUR DAY NOT ANYONE ELSES’

    i third that!!!!!!!!!!!

i enjoyed my wedding day but by christ it was stressful until i was sat in the bar after the food and speeches with my mates… who to me were far moer important than aunties and uncles i only see once every 5 years.

the worst part was the fekin table layout!

“oh you cant have so and so seating by aunty val”

“oh you cant have uncle albert sat by mary”

in the end we just mixed everyone up and it was great!

best bit of advice is to make sure you and your new wife bugger off for 5 minutes away from the main madness for a chill to take it all in, it flies by and you’ll wake up the next day thinking “did that really happne yesterday”

sorry to hear your loss fella, we went through this few years back when dad passed away.. he had a really crap financial advisor that didnt know sh*t and confused mum.

in the end i got all his funds, pension bits and bobs, and sat down one day and just called them all up and did it myself. it’s not a nice thing to have to do but mum was at her whits end. make sure you have a good few copies of the death certificate because they won’t do anything without that and get used to writing lots of letters.

the council tax was cut for mum, i called up and hassled them i think she got a one person allowance.

the worst part is still getting letters sent to dad 2 years later, just brings it all back for her. the pension is b*llshit though, she only gets half of it after he worked his b*llox off since he was 15.

best of luck, it gets easier the twins will help loads for your mum, luckily dad saw my nephew about a month before he passed away.
