if it were me i’d go for the GTI as many have said, you can chip it and still get good MPG, or just go for the ED 30 model, also it will/should hold its value more.

lived in christchurch for 6 months few years back, nice place but it is small in terms of UK citys, hard to explain. I loved NZ as a whole and we are thinking of taking the leap in a few years, as i fell in love with the place.

the best way to explain NZ is its slightly larger than UK in terms of land mass believe it or not but the UK has 60 odd million people and NZ has 4!!

i stayed with a few kiwi families out there and the lifestyle is really laid back, your never too far from the sea, great winter sports lieftstyle

you really need to check about what jobs you can get, what skills you have.

the best advice is to try and get a long holiday over there to check it out.

we had business broadband installed last june, the connection was never fast about 1/2 meg, anyway got talking to the two other companies next door and their internet is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than ours 4-5 meg.

alarm bells start ringing, ive spent the last 3 months trying to get BT to come out and re-wire our line to the same exchange as the people next door for free as they basically admitted the guy who installed it must have wanted to clock off early so did a bodge job.

what ****s me off is every time you ring you speak to someone different and even though my past history is suppose to be on the screen infront you have to go through the same sh*t everytime

dont know the exact weight im afraid but it is heavy’ish…. but then again i came from a Giant Anthem.

i dont mind the weight as its great fun to ride, you do notice the steel springyness especially after riding my old Kona alu hardtail.

annabananna this issue has been going on for years, i had it on my 05 stumpy with Triad shock.

if you go onto the mtbr.com forum and search there will be hundreds of threads on it.

it was all down to the seals fitted, they go brittle in the cold and cause the air to leak (or something like that)

Fox were ‘suppose’ to sort it out but looks like they havent.

It is well documented anyway. i took mine back to the shop, they sent the shock back to be fixed, it came back and it happened again, i ended up selling my bike as it was so frustrating.
