I have the samsung NC10, it gets the best reviews but may be a bit too much for what you want to use it for. It has all the toys – wifi, bluetooth, card reader, 3x USB ports and 120gb harddisc.

I just fitted a 2.4UST to the front, there’s not much clearance on the Pike I have but there were no issues on the run first with it. I really did not belive the comments I’d read about them being so massive till I actually fitted it!

I’ve only tried it on fire roads and a wet, rocky trail but I’m pretty impressed so far.

At last years event I used anti-histamine tablets, very effective. I’m sure they still bite but the bites do not swell up or get irritable.

I’m just about to replace a pair of High Roller 2.35 LUST tyres I have – I found them to be ok but they seem to have worn pretty quickly but overall I’ve not been that impressed. I’m going to try the Halo Choir Master on the back and a Conti Ribber Queen 2.4 on the front.

cheers for the replies on fitting it to a UST rim, only ever tried UST tyres on my 819 but always liked the Big Earl that I had on my hardtail pre UST rims.

I like how every bit on it is blinged up apart from the wirebeaded tyres…

Has anyone tried to seat the tubless ready version on a UST rim?
