I’ve really enjoyed my night rides this season although the only downside is that it generally means being out in shocking weather. Some of the trails feel betetr in the dark than in daylight which may explain why I enjoy it more. It will be good to have daylight and (hopefully) dry rides again though.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, thinking about getting the carbon 456 but have a headset Q for the experts. Currently got a standard 1 1/8″ hope headset – will I need a new complete headset or is there just the 1.5″ part I can buy and still fit “normal” 1 1/8″ steerer forks?

The failure of the Japanese plant is a cooling issue, the plant shut down and the cooling systems should have kicked in – they did not and that is the issue. No idea how often they were tested but it appears that if they were is was not often enough or thorough enough. None of the plants suffered actual damage from the quake/tsunami.

Try a 30 min call as it was me who spotted the fraud, not my bank. I then had get get my overdraft increased as they had wiped my account and until I get a new card I will have to vist the bank in person to get money. Not really a big deal but still a pain.

I’ve got a U-Turn Lyrik on mine, normally set at 145mm but on the few occasions I’ve had it at 160 it’s been fine.

I strongly suspect of this Govt tha they are talking major doom and gloom with the cuts and everything, so that they can end up cutting less and look like heroes when they have in fact still cut quite a bit.

Yep, out with a few others tonight and there is a high chance of snow on the ground. At least it’s supposed to stay dry.
