Give me a roller coaster over something like the pirate ship any day of the week. I love them and I am too close to 50 for comfort!!

    Are you on crack dude?

Have you seen the acceleration on them in hooligan mode?

They do appear to be incredibly overpriced for their lack of attention to detail and poor use of materials, the benchmarking we have done on them puts them in the ‘Ford’ category of Craftsmanship, so not as good materials, design or build quality as a Kia/Hyundai.

Mine swivels down (oooeeerrr), it is fairly stiff so might just take a bit of force, pivots at tow bar side

The only thing I could glean was that it wont be any further north than Gatcombe.

That rules Dalby out then shirley

Mine has gone up massively this year too and a quick trawl through the comparison sites has saved me £200. The thing that I have an issue with is how are insurance companies allowed to send you a renewal price then when you call them to cancel they always do the ‘lets see what I can do’ thing and miraculously reduce the premium, why is this not illegal as if they can reduce premiums when called they are obtaining money under false pretences if you automatically renew?

We were in that area on Monday last week, some lovely coves along there and a great drivers road. Hope it doesn’t spoil your holidays and that anyone involved is ok

Every single cyclist that went straight on at that junction that was in the LH lane was in the wrong. The LH lane is clearly marked turn left only. Lane markings, road signs, traffic signals apply to all, end of story.

Strada 3+1 here – easy to mount, and the slide rather than tilt is fantastic.

My take on life is this: regret the things you do, not the things you didn’t! What happened at Manchester was awful but was completely out of anyones control, you cannot directly influence the actions of others. I have taken my 2 kids to many things including concerts and they are better people for it. I also want to keep them safe but that has never stopped me doing things with them where a possible outcome was out of my control. We visited London 3 weeks after the July bombings as it was already planned and not doing things because of something that happened would just leave you without any enjoyable memories. You use transport of one form or another with your children on a daily basis and road accidents are a daily occurence, doesn’t stop you travelling by car/bus/bike etc.
Go and enjoy watching your children having the time of their lives at Little Mix and you will have happy memories for life.

Blues and flowy reds are more than enough for most competent riders in my view, as said above the blues can get quite scary when you carry a lot of speed. Have a great time it’s brilliant. And remember what jekkyl said about the straps :D

Sony 1080 here, very happy with it so far, 5 HDMI inputs, pass through and upscaling to 4k. Sounds great, bluetooth, wifi inputs, pairs with my phone easy as, my son sometimes upsets me by sharing his spotify with me when he is in cardiff (I live in the midlands), quite funny when watching a film and the sound suddenly changes to Gay bar by Electric 6 lol

Not embarrassing as such but most surreal was having ‘the snip’ several years ago in early December, there were 6 or 7 in the theatre at the time and the radio was playing the top 10 Xmas songs, the surgeon had never heard The Pogues ‘Fairytale of New York’ and was being ribbed about it as he went about his business, took my mind off what was going on but was the most bizarre medical incident I have ever been involved in :D

Gutted to see it was suicide, watching youtube clips from the final Soundgarden show the same night he died and he is on blinding form as ever, genuinely has upset me this one. Thoughts with his wife and children, the world is a poorer place now

To me, the PR stunt with that young lad was the best thing that happened in the GP, maybe I watched a different race but not seen anything really exciting yet this season, getting quite boring with very little real overtaking but that’s just my opinion.

How about stopping home delivery on takeaways? Its so easy to live on takeaway without leaving the house and quite cheap too with the different offers available for different days, some people are so lazy the effort of going to a takeaway themselves would be too much, secondary improvement would be the reduction in emissions from all the cars and scooters hairing around delivering your calorie-fests. worryingly on this note I see maccydees are introducing delivery service too

Are athletes automatically tested if and when they set a new world record to validate the new record? I dont think it is a good idea because as stated above, where do you draw the line? Every time a test is developed that can detect something that enhances performance, do we reset the records again? Another thing is, although WR’s have generally been bettered, do people like Roger Bannister fall foul of this along the lines of ‘was he really the first man to run a 4 minute mile? He was a Dr after-all, who knows what he may have been doing to enhance his performance?’

Mine is Karen Lumley, the biggest oxygen thief ever to walk the earth, has done nothing for her constituency other than get her mugshot in the paper at every opportunity, thankfully she is not standing this time due to ill health, something she will probably blame on the local hospital she has gradually dismantled during her tenure.

I think the calibration within Zwift assumes a 700c wheel with a 23c tyre on it…..

When I set up Zwift it asked for which trainer I was using and also what wheel size, there is a drop down list for this, Zwift recommends resistance 3 for my trainer so I assumed this to be correct, as there is no link to zwift with the resistance setting it doesnt affect the reading on screen if I up or down the resistance.

Why on earth are you spinning at 160rpm?!

It was asking for more power, the only way the power increased was to increase cadence, I was flat out at 160 and still 30%+ down on power!!

I have always maintained there should be no connection reported with any religion/nationality/race etc in events like this. a simple ‘terrorist attack’is all that is needed. the perpetrator is then just seen as a terrorist and no-one gets radicalised, no one distrusts a particular group of people or a belief. Takes the wind out of their sails and prevents unnecessary tensions.

What if the teams were unleashed, no budget caps and no restrictions on available technologies etc? F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport but lacks a lot of technologies seen on some road cars (active suspension, traction control, ABS, rear wheel steering etc) no fuel limits and really let the teams loose to develop cars that truly are pushing the boundaries of technology, would that improve the spectacle or not I dont know, but at least then F1 would be the absolute ultimate of motor vehicle development. The only ‘rules’ would be the driver has to accelerate, brake and steer the car.
