Bear – positive head pump is fine, header tank is over a meter above both shower heads and hot water cylinder. Cylinder is in good condition and approx 22 years old. There is enough hot water to cover both showers as they are rarely used together. Header tank is huge so no worries with supplying both hot and cold from there. No issue with scale formation either.

Also, the 2 showers have separate draws from the cylinder, would 2 pumps be better or 1 pump and use a single draw and connect the out let to both showers?

I bought a cheap road tyre for my turbo and the wall behind the turbo is covered in rubber bits from the tyre so can only conclude that turbos do wear tyres

So how did you calculate the CO2 emissions?

kwh to charge battery including charger efficiency x CO2 g/kwh, divide this figure by EV range to give CO2/km and then minus renewable percentage = CO2/km. a rough calculation and was a result of me pondering what the CO2 output was for a Tesla S journey ignoring all other things in the same way the ICE vehicles have a CO2 g/km that is used for VED.

No baby robins were harmed during this calculation :D

UK electricity is now more like 30% renewable.

UK quoted as 20%, when I did my original calcs the figure I found was 15%, therefore recalculating my faux-facts gives 117g per km

30% renewable predicted by 2020

What argument? It was purely a statement, no comparison or other was made. I am neither for nor against electric vehicles, I am fully aware of the other areas of CO2 production involved with vehicles and their fuels, I was just pondering aloud as it were :-)

I liftshare with a guy who has the i20 with 1l turbo, couldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding and he is not getting any better fuel economy than my 3l diesel (42mpg). My wife has the 1l Ecoboost Fiesta 140bhp, she gets better economy than me and compared to the Hyundai my liftshare has it is a pocket rocket.

Thermostat set at 16, heating on constant all year round. My gas consumption has fallen using this method over the last 12 months compared to the previous 12 months, my electricity however has increased slightly due to the red light being permanently lit on the control panel. Previous 12 months we varied the thermostat and the heating ran from 05:15 to 08:30 and then from 15:45 to 23:00.

The purple halfords ready to use winter screen wash is very good, look out for it when its on offer as it often is during the year, way better than standard ‘blue’ screenwash.

I enjoyed it, the only disappointing thing for me was I live quite close to Coughton Court, the place where the plotters rode to after the plot was discovered and there is no mention of that in the programme, I visited Coughton at the weekend and they were doing Gunpowder Plot talks. The venues shown in Warwickshire were also filmed up North which is also disappointing as the buildings are still there in Warwickshire.

For me they are brilliant, love the way they have grown from seattle grunge band to huge stadium filling rock band. Live they never fail to put on an amazing show.

Whether they were hit or injured in another way, there were still as many as a thousand rounds fired in that time (according to articles/theories) I have read. That is an awful lot of ammo to get through by one person in that time considering none of the weapons were belt fed. Also, one of the videos in one of the links previously shared has the distinct sound of 2 different weapons being fired at the same time, having listened to it several times I do not believe it to be the sound of one gun bouncing off the buildings to create the effect of it being 2 guns, I believe it is definitely a second weapon firing.
Questions I would like answering are:
How did he manage to break those 2 reinforced glass windows without anyone hearing and reporting it?
Where did the broken glass fall to, did no-one see/hear it as it hit the balconies on the way down or the when it hit the ground?
How many people called 911 from the hotel? That amount of gunfire couldn’t go unnoticed by people in rooms around the one that was used.
If, as the internet is spouting, there is some sort of conspiracy involved, who, what and how would benefit?

I am against guns but could there not be a middle ground, yes you can have a gun BUT it can only be a handgun, neither semi nor fully automatic, max calibre 9mm, max 2 magazines and max 10 rounds per magazine. Yes people will still get shot and killed but nothing comparable to Vegas, each shot will require a deliberate trigger pull etc, mass shootings more difficult/impossible but American constitution maintained. Just a (hopefully) sensible thought that is a middle ground.

Having been a bit anti LG due to his dickishness then seeing Supersonic where clearly he has far more empathy with people than Noel does I have grown to like him. His festival appearances over the summer have been very good, agree the appearance on Jools was poor but I thought he sounded good and the band sounded poor. he must be doing something right as his tour sold out in a few hours and there are still plenty of tickets available for his brothers tour.
I like LG and would go and see him, I dislike his brother.

Never had flu, only once had flu jab as get them free due to diabetes, never have one again as generally I dont suffer with colds and/or flu and the year I had the flu jab was the only year I have ever suffered with colds, go figure…

Genius for me, as above have seen them many times and they are a bit hit and miss, Match of the Day at Elland Road they were awesome, looking forward to seeing them this winter. Also, second here for the opening line of Kinky Afro being the best opening line ever.

I have only used Ryanair once and would never use them again, as mentioned previously you get what you pay for (or in my case it costs you £135 extra as booking bags for a return flight meant they were only on the outbound not the return). Flights delayed which meant additional costs in collecting hire car due to late pick up penalty, email advice to arrive 3hrs before flight due to increased time through passport control on return leg (an issue that made headlines during the summer) but check in not opened until 2hrs before flight. Never again will I use them.

Just ignore him, he is obviously an attention whore, if the media didn’t run the stories and the political leaders kept their mouths shut he would eventually give up, the thing you focus on is the thing you get more of – basic parenting skill, dont respond when the kids are playing up, heap praise on them when they do good and the result is they do lots more good than playing up.

The Geax range are good tyres and well priced from on-one, also Michelin tyres that I am using in 26″ are working well. Could also look at the on-one chunky monkey/smorgasboard combo, they are quite burly and work well.
