Trying to get my knee down in the wet with a new rear tyre. Backend went with such force the front end followed which allowed the back to grip again followed by the front. I pat my shants & bimbled of home with 2 sore knees that got rattled of the tank rather ferociously.

I was going to order an Oneal full face helmet from Tredz , but they wanted £25 for delivery. So I ordered it from Wheelies & got it delivered free. I know it s not the same subject but I thought it was a bit weird.

Ordered a tyre on the 9th & on the 12th I recieved an email saying they were processing & hoped to dispatch on the 18th, so pap I had to laugh.  Maybe they meant procrastinating instead of processing?

    Team Past it .

Robin and Annette Daykin at an age when most couples are getting ready for retierment , they take up side car racing.

I believe Robin was 74 when he raced the TT with Annette as pasenger , apparently after they qualified the organisers refused to let him race as he was to old , but as word spread & some very big names said they would not race either if the refusal stood , the organisers relented & they got their dream.

If I remenber correctly Robin was all to aware his time was running out , Robin died in December that year from cancer.

The little I do know of them leads me to believe they were brilliant!

Husky or Stihl , I use to turn people away from my workshop when they presented anything else, its just not worth it. Yeah you might get a good one but generaly you wont.

Just helped my elderly neighbour with his brand new SGS 52 cc dung heap, the carb mixture screw is ridiculously sensitve & either idles & bogs under load or revs out fine but wont idle, with a miniscule adjustment. Oh & the plug cap fell apart revealing a 4 strand wire  H T lead & stupid spring cap.

    Your all wrong.

    The hills are bare now
And autumn leaves lie thick and still
O’er land that is lost now
    Which those so dearly held
    And stood against him
    Proud Edward’s army
    And sent him homeward
    Tae think again.

Just back from working up there today, there is a very light covering of snow high up. Breezy , showery & cold pretty much sums it up. Can confirm Skoda estates with mountain bikes on have been spotted in the area.

Coming back from Fort William last year in my work van, I had to stop at some temporary traffic lights. There was a newish red T5 camper 2 vehicles ahead of me , as the lights changed to green & the vehicles started moving the T5 passenger chucks a full carrier bag of rubbish out the window. Unbelievable as we were just about a mile past a layby with a bin. As I overtook them on the straight at Laggan I got a look at the occupants, a man driving & woman in the passenger seat approx  50 ish years of age. I’m guessing they had no idea why they got the finger but it was a better option than the pit manouvere.

    Yes I know I’m a bellend also.

Cost me far to much but the slow opening iris never ceases to captavate me. Choice of modules also for more spendyness.

90% of the time it’s my Anthem , I love that bike & use it all year round.

7% when I think I need longer travel & a bit more forgiving geometry , Its my Cove husler & I love that bike.

3% My Cube 29er hardtail is on my turbo trainer for when the worst of the Scottish weather hits , that bikes a bit Meh!

0% 18 yr old Claud Butler Cheapy HT , nostalgia only.

My Anthem could easily do it all.

Don’t come to Skye! we dont have pot holes , we have miles of cluster bomb craters. It’s never ever been this bad & we are use to crappy roads. I think the council have run out of 20mph & temporary road surface signs, they have grass cutters & grave diggers out with buckets of cold tar as the work force has been decimated over the last 10 years.

    We are doomed!

Smidge might be great but quite a few times last year it was the shear volume that I was inhaling that caused me the greatest issue. No amount of repelent can solve that problem, they were savage at times last year.
