@carlos it was so sweet! Spent 2 days battering down the full length Commencal track before jumping in the gondalas & doing it all again like a deranged hamster. Today I just cycled up to it on the road , enjoying the Sun , crickets & wee lizardy things scuttling about.

Nice evolution in skills/technique has been achieved. Back to the yUK 2moro  :  (

My front garden is largely moss , weeks of dryness mean now it aint looking good. I’ve tried killing it over the years & gave up. It’s gonna pish it down on Skye tomorow , but the weather has been superb of late.

Hearing many people say this year is especially bad. Come evening my outdoord time is certainly curtailed.

Another intrusive tinnitus sufferer here , I am around noisey diesels , grinders , hammers most days & normaly use Howard leight Max plugs. I usually double up with peltor ear muffs as well , still get a lot of low frequency that cant be blocked.

The thing to remember with tinnitus is it’s just a noise , easier said than done as it buckled me for the first year. Relax into it , humans are great at adapting.

I think I like the Btwin chamois pad that decathlon sell the best , 900 maybe? Cant quite remember I have it in my Bib’s but will purchase the same pad in shorts soon. I don’t find that bib’s are better for me, but that pad is my fave & the £39.99 bib is a steal imo.

The most I’ve managed consecutivly is 7 & my forearms were like concrete after. First run on my new 160mm bike last year & I dropped of the side of the boardwalk & OTB’s face first into a massive boulder! Thank foik I wear a full face on it or id have no teef.

Did another few runs in agony so I wouldnt be left with the fear, didnt work as I never went back last year :  )

It’s an ace track though imo & i’ll be back soon.

Yeah I already pay attention on correct foot placement when I’m out . Going to try some new pedals , the sideshow Bob catalysts look a bit weird , so still pondering them. Tempted by the Nano’s @ £40 the now , not keen on forking out £100ish quid on the prime choice range of pedals. Cause I is a bit tight , but I is a bit sore.

Interesting , its V8’s I’ve got. Just checked out them catalysts , will do more research.

    Thanks

They rot , They all rot  , & when you get one it will rot too.

My bruv has/had one , it’s an awesome vehicle. Bit small inside & heavy on the juice but I love driving it. Shame its now borked with rust underneath. He’s just tracked down another shell that seems good & the running gear will live on. Its super comfy to drive & my motocross bike fits in standing upright suprisingly.

    Oh & they rot.
