Was swithering on the carbon frame option but spunked a grand on roller rockers for the Guzzi instead.

Skye’s rammed again , I think there’s only 1 campsite @ Edinbane open so lot’s of wild camping going on. Guessing there’s a fair amount of u buggers here judging by the amount of Mtb’s strapped to all sorts of motors. (Mainly german estate cars tho)

I was fairly certain I saw 2 B52’s last week over Skye & heading due north. It was high hazy cloud & I was late in getting the bino’s on them , but whatever they were was unusual. They were high up & well ahead of me but the con trails were weird as in 8 engines weird , Black wide & unusual tail.

Was gonna post on here for some plane twitchers opinions on how likely it would of been.

I can’t look past Shimano AM 41’s even though getting them now is difficult, if you wait long enough they pop up on ebay every now & again. I bought some 5 10 impact vxi’s & thought meh! Buggers for hot spots after an hour + & amazing for collecting wee stones in them while riding along.

I suffered a lower back spasm 20 years ago & GP said its a muscle spasm & it will get better, blah blah blah. Cue mild back pain & odd recuring spasm for 15 yr + until at my current work place, after I flared it up pretty badly.

OH sent me to a osteopath wifey in Staffin on Skye & after a strip down & instructed to bend over she instantly said your pelvis (SI Joint) is ‘squint’ on the table & the old shoulder & knee levering & loud crack. After a day or 2 it was like having a new back , not experieced nagging lower back pain freedom for so many years it was amazing.

I have an SI joint dysfunction & occasionaly I twist it out with heavy lifting typicaly while standing on 1 leg or uneven footing & if I dont get it cracked it lasts weeks & when cracked , 1- 2 days & it’s gone.

Lot’s of people slag off Osteopaths as quackery , my experience tells me diferent. I suffered for years after listening to various GP’s.

Still got my 2015 27.5 2 model & I still love it. It’s been hammered down the Fort Bill Red (now black) run a fair few times, I did put the forks to 120mm put a 180 disc up front & add a dropper to help matters though.

It is pretty sketchy on steep descents compared to my trail bike , but it can do them with a bit of focus. I’ve put around 13k on it & the frame is showing sighns of stress cracking, no doubt down to it getting a bit abused in places it probably wasnt intended for.

I want another but I’m holding out for a good deal (like I got with my current one). The buggers fair shot up in price after 2017 & I want the previous to 27.2mm model, cause a dropper is essential to me these days.

I’s a bit triggers broom with only the frame original now, it will be a sad day when its retired.

I’m an Engineer maintaining & repairing a wide variety of machinery used in the Aqua culture industry (Food production). biggest change in my work is the roads are deserted , makes me smile. No chinese tourists , no any tourists 😀 & also cleaner hands.
