26 to 29 early-ish adopter and just liked how it rode over the 26, been like that for years and got a 27.5 to try – disliked it now it is a mullet and it is far more enjoyable than I expected.

I have a fat stooge and simple makes me smile….it is a ridiculous how capable it is from big climbs, to rocky descents ( though fully rigid it is lesson in being loose and absorbing impacts) I have done but days out and it was my only bike for a good while – for me it copes with moorland fells well and does ok on linking roads where it really shines is rolling terrain where you keep your speed, and trail centres where it is supercapable, traction and Corning is ridiculously good ,so much so it makes other bikes feel meh.
It can be a uncontrolled space hopper without right pressure in the tyres – yes chasing roadies is ridiculously silly but for a moment there is a smile…you will get tired…and finally I am quiet person so get use to talking with people about it.
Less niche for me more bloody good fun.

Cheers….riding wise she is about descending, will tolerate climbing if there is single-track and descents. We were are is a mix of fells and moors with road in-between, so natural stuff – she hates hike a bike. Trail centre we are near Gisburn, which she likes, not a jumper more keep low and fast.
The pivot is a 27.5 but she has access to a orange 29er from 2015, long compared to the pivot so as described above is conflicted with wheel size choice- 29 stable and fast 27.5 clickable – she is not good at description of how the bike feels nor handles, yet has a number of QoM – sorry bad gauge but she is a rapid rider-
Ape index is interesting and need to revisit but with the trend to low seat tubes it does open up the sizing issue.

Agree with Dress I bought that press and struggled more than my homemade press which has had massive use, I could not get the head cups to sit square, actually bent the thread rod.

For me , vegetarian, I just tend to eat things like
    Dhal
    rice
    Chilli – burrito breakfast
    Moroccan stew
    Cous cous of varying ingredients
    Fresh salsa with roasted veg
    Tofu scrambled or stir fried
Pretty much a small balanced meal.

Lots can be made prior, from fridge or freezer then heat , I do not have a microwave but that would be even easier.
Try avant-garde vegan on you tube…
No idea why we are so stuck to traditional views of breakfast.

I would suggest some elements of strength work, especially core – not necessarily becoming Arnie but look at functional strength, and development of muscle stamina of your core ( especially)arms and back. add in stretching as well. More too sitting on a bike ……

    Combine with running.

Both of the above have been in flash sales so reduced
Osprey excellent warrenty if something goes wrong

Hello Pyro! Glad you like the bike, it is a great bike especially in BC mode, I had 120/90mm talas fork (that worked) on there and was brilliant!

I miss my RM element….did a Fred Whitton on it, plus all the training, rode over fell and moor, down some stuff that was way above its supposed geometry.

Lovely suspension, great bike. Sold it as I felt it was a bit short and wanted something else, mistake!

Wellgo, a good few in our family and limited issues, they die cheap enough to replace. Just bought the magnesium ones off Merlin. Just to clarify Northern England rider so moors and fells, so reasonable wet and gritty and grotty.

Posh ones well straitline done well.
Cully’s finally died on my SO at beginning of lockdown.

ESI grips here, moved to death grips as they were free, well daughter bought them and never fitted them, I agree above good grip but too hard for long rides.

Not a fan of the new osprey synchro…. The older raptor was better imho. I am selling, sorry, a Ergon bx3 16 litres brand new never used and tags, will sell it for £50, personally feel they carry the weight better than most bags as it is lower on your hips.

Okay I confess to be a member of the Stooge club.

Massively capable for what ever you need to do, short blasts, woodsy riding, big days on the fell, long days.

I set one as a training bike for the Fred Whitton, super comfy climbed like a dream, loved it. Swapped to my Richey p29 for the day and struggled, and that was a massively capable bike, I feel that the stooge was a better climber and descender.

    Recommendation Stooge.

Extraction is a film directed by a great stunt director and the action scenes are great BUT the story ( idea of setting it in India/ Bangladesh) was great but fell in stereotypes and simplistic themes.
Hemsworth is afarfar better actor and needed better material, using the cast would have helped and how much muscle has Thor losted?
