Housing is getting pretty bad out here, even for summer. I cant find a private room for under 850 a month which i just cant afford as im broke (#whislife)

So staying put and currently sharing a room for 750/month.

Its still amazing out here though, it will be better when the sun actually decides to show up though and the snow melts. Still sooo much on the mountain.

I prefer black mountains if uplifting, love riding there!

    BPW if pedalling up.

I went with Pompon for female this year but heard a few days ago she’s broke her shoulder again 🙁

Alice in Chains are probably my fave band…so dark, I love it. Staley was one the best rock vocalists around.

Although part of the grunge movement…not sure Id class them as grunge, a bit heavier than that.

They have definitely filled in the start of vicious valley from when it was first put up, a lot smaller now.

My raw frame was the same with the bearings…kind of looked like pitting of some kind. I changed the bearings fine though so I wouldn’t worry too much.

I’m sure the gunmetal will look good. I didn’t think I would like the yellow, but once I got it I thought it looked awesome! So dont discount that! 😉

I used to really like the dark feel of the start of 373 on the wall, but they’ve recently had to thin the trees. Doesn’t feel the same!

It was open about 2 months ago, Afan is my local but I rarely go that side of valley.

Glyncorrwg cafe is much better though. or Afan Lodge.

@chief – well they said in the notes “was misaligned” so I’m assuming they did.

I’m sure the CCdbair is a better shock by far, this is my 3rd inline pretty much in just over a year and its completely lost all its damping after being serviced by tf middle of Dec.

I was thinking about getting a monarch RC3? or one of the new fox.

    thoughts?

Had the bike checked by Ison, frame alignment is fine. Apperently the shock bushing was misaligned?

Anybody using another shock other than an inline with a spitfire?

    Thinking of selling mine

Leaky piston probably or perished seals. I just got a new brake as no matter how many times I bled, it did nothing.

Yeah got the original in Oct 2014. Maybe I am just really unlucky with them, they are amazing bikes to ride.

Will take it into local dealer today.

Anybody had problems with frame alignment? Had my new warranty frame in Oct, about a month later my inline had wear marks on one side of the damper tube, by Dec it was even worse.

So I got a warranty done on the inline. Its been approx 2 months and Im getting worn marks on the same side of the damper tube again. 🙁

I got to about level 55 before I got bored and Im a huge fallout fan. Money well spent as I played over 100 hours. As a whole package its better than previous games but I miss the skill points/perk system from the 3/NV.

Its definitely missing some of the cool/creepy stories that were in the other games though. That said it was still awesome fun.

    Thanks Guys.

Not sure what Im going to do yet. Might go straight to Whistler>stay in hostel for a few days>move into my accomm>head down to Squamish after I’ve settled a couple of days OR go straight to Sqaumish first for a few days.

Im staying in Bayshores for the summer in creekside.

UPDATE: Just booked my flight, I fly out on the 28th April. Excited/scared but that’s normal I guess! (or hope)

Can I get from Squamish to Whistler on the pacific coach shuttle? I know I can get to either from YVR. But I was planning on getting the shuttle from YVR to Squamish (so I can get my SIN) spend a few days there and then move up to whistler on 2nd may as thats when I can move into my accomm.

I guess I could just get to Whistler first and get settled, then head to squamish without having to worry about lugging a bike bag around with me.

bpw is still great fun as its only 30mins away for me. I will say though they need to add more showers/toilets. Considering how many people are there on a weekend 1 toilet and 1 shower is not enough.

Revs for proper dh tracks. Its great there. I’ve ridden it in the wet and its still awesome fun even when my poor amount of skill runs out!

    Sweet new bike anyway!

Looks like I (hopefully) will be getting a 2nd warranty replacement for my inline. So that’s 3 in the space of a year. This time noticed some bad wear on the shaft. Could be frame mis-alignment but it looks ok to me. Also on spitfire.

Good shock, not sure I would call it reliable though.

Alice Coopers stage show is far better than Motley Crue’s, always has been though.

Rammstein also have an awesome one.

Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

What fork are you guys running? Thinking about changing from my 2013 slant as the damper has blown twice now.

    Anybody using a mattoc pro?

Thats 3 of us with cracks around the same area, slightly concerning. Hopefully my 2016 frame is better.

I was the opposite with the bearings, the bottom ones were completely seized, but I didn’t clean it very often. So my fault

It still an awesome bike though so it doesnt matter.
