I had a country covers one it was half the price of a buff at the time(my money could not stretch to a buff), it was very warm and toasty 🙂 but it was also bulky and heavier. I have a buff now its brill it packs down quite tight for popping in the rucksack too 🙂 My other half has had his buff for years he loves it but he really should get a new one it looks a bit tired. They are warmer when you wear them next to the skin or with a thin base layer.

I stopped riding because of a foot injury 🙁 when I started to ride again (4 years later) it was hard work no one to ride with (2 riding friends had packed up).
So I tried a couple of clubs then found one that was right for me (it had a MTB development group) so I joined in June 🙂 it has been fantastic learned new skills, have a good time, getting quicker and fitter and have new cycling chums 😀 A few of us go out mid week for extra rides too.
It may be worth a look at some clubs to see if they are a nice bunch that you want to go riding with 🙂

I have one its brill (not had a dropper before) easy to put on the bike, just get some good cable cutters I didnt 👿 it took ages to cut it.
I have made a lose fitting gore-tex tube, velcro strip down the front for easy removal, I tie it on the seat rails to stop mud etc hitting it.
On the trail easy to use, more time riding less time stopping to adjust seat up/down.

I have just put one on my bike (same problem as you, dropper post) only done 3 rides as yet- 1st one chucked it down all day so I couldnt tell, 2nd and 3rd dry but mud/puddles it keeps some off, the person behind did say it was working and they were going to get one.
Its not as good as my mud guard (before dropper) but if it keeps some off im happy, I will have a go with the fender bender at some point when I get around to ordering it

I love maps 🙂 I find I can map read easier with map and compass than using my GPS (used for just in case moments)but I would like to be a bit more confident.I also just look at maps whilst at home, I have memory map so I can look all over the place too 🙂
I used to go riding with 2 chaps they had no idea how to read a map but it was ok because 1 of them had GPS till the battery died, good job I had my map and compass, this chap did take a map once when we went to the white peak he couldnt find where we were so he passed me the map I too one look and handed his dark peak map back and got my own map out 🙄

Shooting, archrey etc it is better to shoot with your dominant eye not your dominant hand ( even if you do feel like a one legged man/woman in a a*ss kicking contest) 😉
I had four 8 year olds on a course today all right handed 3 turned out left eyed one thought he had to learn to write again 😕

Eye dominance for little people is normally sorted by the time they are about 10 years old

Yes you get some people who wont be able to close either eye, some can shut either eye, when you look at someone sometimes you can spot there dominant eye- eyebrow sometimes higher and / or it moves more, 😉
It is really strange/funny when you see someone pick up a rifle for the first time and try and look through the sights when they are right handed but left eyed or the other way around, more ladies are cross dominant than men 😉

Eye dominance, ie if you are right handed you are most lightly to be right eyed but not always !, you use your dominant eye to look through things ie camera view finder etc, and its harder to close your dominant eye. So I will let you lot get back to winking 😉

I have had PF in both feet in the past, as above golf ball (it will hurt),frozen bottle/can that fits insole and roll it, good trainers, walking shoes that are not to hard (gel heel things help) Ibuprofen, pain killers may help, massaging (again it will hurt).
The best thing for night was a piece of wood approx 30mm x 10mm x 200mm bandaged to the bottom of my foot not dead tight but tight enough that it kept it flatish then in the morning remove wood stretch the foot ( this stops the instep muscle from tearing each morning which damages it further ) this realy helped me and I found it alot more effective than the booty splinty thing.
Standing for a long time can affect it ie job, sport etc
Have you ruled out heal spur (x-ray) which also affects some PF sufferers, My doc said ‘cortisone injections’ just mask the pain and dont work very well (and yes they will make you cry like a girl)
I hope it gets better soon

Help (juicy 5) I have done the screwdriver thing, taken pads out tried new ones and thay wont go in, so try and put old ones back in so I can do screwdriver bit again but they wont go in tried pushing on piston and the otherside comes out so what to try next
[honourablegeorge When replacing Juicy pads, I found that the calipers wouldn’t go back far enough to get them in properly. What works is to open the little bleed screw on the lever a quarter turn, and then push them back. Tighten up the screw, wipe off the wee dribble of fluid, and job done]
which is the bleed screw ? grub screw or hex bolt ? or just go to the shop tommorow and be a girl 😳
