My Bosch one was dancing all around the kitchen, and sure enough it was the transit bolts.
What was annoying about it though is that the manual doesn’t mention them apart from in an appendix tucked away in the back. They’re not mentioned at all in the “Setting up your new washing machine” section…

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it…

Is it wrong that I sang the themes as I wrote them?

When the Queen Mother died it was in the news that she had formerly been Queen and that her name was Elizabeth. Given that the current Queen is Elizabeth the Second, my wife put 2 and 2 together and concluded that The Queen Mum had been Elizabeth the First.

It was only through references to the chronology of the Blackadder series’ that I could convince her that she was wrong.

I hope no-one in the hospital car park bumped you car doors!

I’ve never watched a Rocky or Rambo film, or any of the Godfather ones for that matter…

The only thing that spoilt Band of Brothers for me was the random American accents that Damien Lewis seemed to employ. He was largely consistent, but there were one or two episodes where I almost expected him to bring out Groucho Marx glasses and cigar.
