We’ll thanks for your kind support. The throwing up stopped about 10pm.
I’ve had a small bottle of lucozade and nothing else solid or liquid since Friday eve. I feel awful still.

On reading the small print the lucozade says ‘not for replacing fluids from an upset stomach’ !!!

WTF, it’s the only thing that works!!?!?

We decided to go to an amazing sheltered beach forest path ramble tonight.
I’m here now and there’s a bloody bmw turned up with a big bloody jetski mountain bike.
We’re all trying to have fun on the beach walk while this big bloody motorised 29er thing is making a racket destroying the peace.
Before anyone says anything I had a go on one once. They are fun for about 10 minutes. Might be good shotgun/lasertag practice from the beach tea shop.

No, for all the reasons above. Also mortgage provider options may be limited as some have restrictions on nearby businesses etc. Could be an issue for your friend and also future resale in terms of providers / rate premium.

Better of buying tip somewhere else with less issues…

Out of interest does just north of £3k sound fair then for switch to combi with 38cdi?

    Ah it’s still in Bike…

So far both guys who quoted for the work (both done work for me / friends so fairly reliable!?!) have recommended combi.. As did someone who serviced it the previous time.

Just wonder why they are all so in favour of combis.

Is it just more profitable for installers, easier to install or genuinely if the combi option works for your intended needs, then it is a better choice?

The extra space isn’t a big deal for me, tho the current pipes in my airing cupbooard are a total mess so it would be nice to get rid of it all!

I have just had a couple of quotes (in London / Surrey) for my 3 bed detached. Currently have a regular boiler.
    Changing whole system to combi:
    Q1- £3,300 inc vat. (WB 38cdi classic)
    Q2- £3,100 inc vat. (WB 30si compact).
    Just replacing current ”regular’ boiler:
    Q1- £2,200 inc vat. (WB 18ri)
    Q2 – £2,000 inc vat (WB 18ri)
Both included a new gas supply to be run from the meter. Q1’s included a power flush but no magnaclean. Q2’s didn’t include power flush, but did include fitting of magnaclean.
General consensus seemed to be Worcester Bosch as the default choice!
Just can’t decide if I should switch to combi or stay regular!

Famous 3 Kings, West Ken – great footy pub, get there early, though you will prob get shafted for an entry fee (which gets you in and a beer normally), might be a few CFC there but will be plenty of LFC

There is awesome kebab nearby too, and fairly well located if you want to move on after the game

Sounds ‘normal’ for a lot of people I know :0(, and they are too exhausted to fix things!
    However worth keeping an eye it any clues eg wind as others have mentioned, itching / scratching, possible allergy type things; irritation from detergents etc;
Are they hungry, do they look tired but cannot sleep?
Are they on formula, some swear by a bottle before bed as a top up.

‘Good’ sleepers will generally be in a routine so if all else is normal and nothing medically untoward, is there any way you can force the routine. Eg nice wind-down before bed (bath, relaxing stories etx), and lie near them for reassurance.
Gradually wean them of the dependence on you..

Failing that yours might just have a broken sleep sensor :(, return to store for a replacement!

It’s insanely expensive. A decent cottage for 500£ a week, plus £1,500 spending money would be more fun! I’ve been to longleat a few times (it was great) but only off season and before prices went mental.

Defo a longer plug and screw, at the very least drill thru to sound brick, then hammer the plug thru the board if you dont have any decent plugs. Those Fischer ones look the biz though and would be perfect.

And +1 for chucking away most plugs that come with things!
