Yes they have my EHIC card and the costs aren’t terrible, its the lack of “assistance” that concerns me.

I’d expect them to confirm theyve contacted the hospital so all is OK.

I also asked about my flight home and what I would have expected is a “this is what we do” reply.

I’ll call them again in the morning, I’ve had trouble concentrating until today but now I feel fine and want to get home ASAP.

The private bit in in the wording unless there is no alternative. I just think it is a sh!te way to deal with a customer, how on earth could I have decided where I was going to be treated?

I don’t want to pan them completely maybe I had 2 dodgy calls but you’d like to think youd get your hand held in times like this!

sorry mahalo on pinkbike someone asked the same thing:

    http://www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=128551&pagenum=120

Just pay when you are there, much easier. Why waste the Dr’s time and spend more money when there is a cheaper alternative 🙂

    Good luck

    UCC Medical Cert Template

I guess best to use this template.

We took out the Multi Assurance, it wasn’t dear and I double checked it means no other documentation is needed.

As whitestone says getting to TV is the only “tricky” bit.

If you have a decent GPS you will be fine. I blindly followed mine when it pointed up a grassy bank to TV.

    Have fun!

Looks like the Traffic / Vivaro are under 2m in height so class 1 for the peage too 🙂

I’d definitely prefer a tailgate as opposed to barn doors but hardly a deal breaker. Was riding with a guy the other night who turns out deals in commercial vehicles so hopefully I can get a bit of discount too 🙂

Yes the Vauxhall was the other option.

I assume the bulkhead keeps the noise down a bit?

Just be nice to have space and when weather really rubbish somewhere to get changed, an A4 estate really doesn’t cut it, I ride all year round and there really isn’t any space one the bike is in and I hate roof racks!

Sometimes it helps to have someone impartial to open up in front of.

So whilst I agree they should initially discuss together it isn’t always possible.

In the end we all have our opinions – good luck OP.

OP clearly its something you really need to tackle head on, it must be an awful situation (sadly I did something similar to my wife a number of years ago – whilst it still makes me angry that I treated her that way I was a bit lost and had other people blowing smoke up my arse and I turned into a right w@nker!).

I went quiet, avoided eye contact, all sorts of things. Whilst the exact details are irrelevant and I’m not going to start making assumptions what could be going on I would highly recommend getting some counselling.

Individually or together or both but I was highly sceptical but gave it a go and it really opened my eyes to a few things, mainly about my failings that I really wasn’t aware of.

Children rightly or wrongly can make things much harder but you need to make sure you are happy too.

I’ve not read all the replies so sorry if I repeated anything said above but I wish you all the best – positive thoughts buddy!

Well I did it this morning, parked in the Rangers Station car park, the .gpx I downloaded was 98% accurate so didn’t get lost 🙂

Bit foggy so no views at the top but I loved nearly every minute of it.

Quite a few walkers about on the way back down but what a cool descent, not really ridden stuff like that before (ROCKS) and loved it. Have to admit to getting off a few times coming down just to make sure I actually got back in time for the family!

Thanks again for all the tips :-))

Its very strange, did both front and rear tyres (HR on front and Ardent on Rear) HR has pumped up and is fine, Ardent wont hold pressure for very long. lost 15 psi in 3 hours. I’ll try a ride on it tomorrow and see if that helps seal it all.

Failing that I’ll clean it off and start again as you suggest snaps.

Bought mine initially as a winter hack, had an external dropper in the garage spare, set of XT brakes and upgraded the fork to a Pike.

    Its bloody amazing!

    Composed, fun & predicable.

Not a whippet up climbs but the descending is so much fun even in the horrible mud we’ve had round here for months.

Couldn’t recommend it enough, my full suss was nearly 3 times the price it’s no way 3 times better. I’m sure there will be days I’d rather take the Crush out.

    Buy one!

Just redone some trousers with Nikiwax, used the non tumble dry stuff.

Seems OK, i washed them first without any cleaning “stuff” and before I washed them I washed my other dirty gear in just a washing agent no fabric conditioner to make sure no conditioner was present.

I doubt much ever beads like when its new but better than no beading at all!

Currently looking for a frame to build up for the mega, want a threaded BB and external routing.

New Mega 275 – but seems to be a delay in getting one.

GT Sanction looks like it could be worth considering

Agree they look like for sub zero temps, I simply get ice cold feet even in slightly wet 7 degree rides. Properly numb not a tad cold.
