Agree with mrmo, surely it isn’t the method of getting to work that is the problem it is more that when we get there all we do is sit around surfing the web. There is a lot less hidden exercise involved in daily life than there used to be.
As above far better/cheaper to lose weight from yourself and than the bike….I should know as a fellow less than svelte Meta 55 owner :D Probably only shave a kilo or so from the bike anyway, same as leaving the camelback behind
Do you ride with flats or SPDs? If SPD’s check the cleat interface I spent ages looking for that, replaced my admittedly ancient cleats with new ones and no more creaking!!
I wouldn’t get too hung up on having a bulkhead if I were you, I used to worry about leaving the bike inside but to be honest you can’t see it…then again I have darkened windows on my Vito Dualiner and a solid rear tailgate. Better off getting the LWB it makes the vehicle more useable, my last van was a SWB Vito and as mentioned above “longer length” is better.
Built one like Stoners ^^^^ but started by buying a cheap ass BBQ from Argos, on sale for £20, and robbing all the necessary bits from it saved quite a bit over some of the kits you see for sale :-) Instead of slabs to sit the BBQ on I just left a couple of bricks jutting out to slide the ash tray onto.
Just keep pointing out to these idiots that VED is based on emissions as such bikes would be zero rated anyway, just means more cost producing tax discs
study from 2011 put a figure on overall CO2 emissions from bikes[/url]
Is it all plugged into the same mains adapter? Also I get quite a shock of some types of HDMI lead (mainly cheap ones) but that may be just me justifying expensive ones :D
Have you fully powered it off? I know that sounds condescending but ours started missing the end of programmes and fully restarting it fixed that. Check the EPG as a programme is about to start/end and see if it moves the line along, ours didn’t!
They spend £50k on a car and don’t add an bluetooth phone kit – or did they come as standard on an RR?
My Vito came with Bluetooth built in, unfortunately my new phone is incompatible with it so I am now paired to the Garmin, so it is not always that straight forward.
Total shot in the dark as don’t normally mess with Drayteks, but if it is a firewall policy does communication need to be two way on Port 81 or only outbound? Only asking as you mention you opened the port “to 192.168.0.99” you may need to open to and from.
The samsung apps on mine are updateable, unfortunately it is a while since I have done it so I can’t quite remember how!! Seem to remember the option is fairly obvious and doesn’t require much searching around.
It sounds like she is communicating now, must of taken some nerve on her part to admit to this debt after years of hiding it. Roll the debt onto the mortgage, and cut up the cards, if a) you love her, b) you still want to be together, and c) you don’t think she will run off as soon as the cards are clear.
Yep my 08 Meta 552 is still going strong & it has had a hard life with no complaints – shamefully still on same main pivot bearing as well
AFAIK it was, as stated above, the large frames or mediums with a lot of seatpost showing that cracked. On which note if you like dropper posts remember the Meta is 27.2 :(
Never mind the interviewers, anyone else noticed how friendly Willy Kanis’ bike holder is when on the start line. His routine is pat on the back, pat on the knee then quick rub up and down her inner thigh 8O
