Might want to try Howdens (where builders go) and Wickes as well as B&Q. Also worth taking that small plinth with you to match up?

Guess that is something you would have to take up with your fleet department, as I don’t think they will give you a car allowance (which covers running costs) and pay you the 45p per mile. If they do grab it quick :D because for me last month if I claimed back at 14p rate (company set rate for business miles without fuel card in company car) I would of got £420 at the 45p rate £1350. Needless to say I am NOT allowed to claim for my mileage :(

Could always try to get them to give it to you as a tax free loan instead of a car allowance but I have no idea how the taxman views that dodge

Guessing by the tiles, half your 1000 wide cabinet takes two floor tiles, that the gap was made to measure for the dishwasher? If so may need to take out that blanking piece at the end to fit a 500 wide in.

Try googling Sciatica as well, plus most people have one leg shorter than the other so may want to look at bike postion as stated above. Sorted a lot of my issues by fitting Specialized BG insoles..sounds stupid but worked for me!

EDIT- or buy a full sus :)

Yes to first question, no to second as you won’t be allowed both (45/25 is for using your own car)

Could always try theLEDHut if you haven’t already. They are very good at taking things back when they don’t fit (again) :D

Did the Zyxel come from your provider? If so send it back and get a new one. Personally I would replace it with a Linksys.

Depends on your budget, I suppose, but I use a Garmin GPSMap 62S comes with OS maps loaded. Has been flawless even though it has been severely mistreated  gets a great signal lock even in dense cover plus it takes the ANT+ sensors – I have now added the (pointless but fun) temperature sensor, but it also takes HR/Cadence/etc sensors

Hatcher Components used to make a 3 in 1 sliding bulkhead that had a fold down bed, mainly for Sprinter sized vehicles though because they are wide enough to lie width ways in. Sometimes come up on ebay, not much use if you are set on a Vivaro though.

I got the Missus a Sony Vaio Touchscreen laptop for Christmas, and she took to it like a duck to water, agree with the comment above about boot times with SSD being a revelation. She now hates going back and using her old works WinXP laptop – which will be needing a new screen soon as she keeps prodding it by mistake!

Glad I paid extra for the touchscreen version as I have since used Win8 on a standard machine and it is no where near as good

Guess maybe the GPS was set to OS co-ordinates not Lat/Long? Or had bled on the screen too much and read them out wrong

Although I think the savings only come if you make a fair few trips to France a year.

If you open the Play Music application do the 8 songs that have downloaded have a “white drawing pin inside a blue circle” icon near them?

If so that is what you need to find on the other 52 songs, when you click the drawing pin it downloads the tunes. I take it you have ample phone memory left?

Just back from using it, journey took 1 hour from leaving the motorway exit both ways, I was however using the freight side not the passenger side.

Majority of accidents are the poorly designed junctions, and nutters trying to get past one more truck before the dual carriageway ends.

These cameras are going to be from Dunblane to Inverness not just from Perth.

Will be a total PITA as no one will overtake anything, and when they get to the Dually bits it will be one loooong line of cars in the outer lane passing a truck five miles ahead.

I’m sad enough to carry a spare carrier bag to put others rubbish in when I find it

What really hacks me off is discarded inner tubes, still saves me buying new ones I suppose.

As above I would wait until the new one arrives, then what is already a bargain tablet will become even cheaper! If you look on Google Play store you will note it is now called the Nexus 7 (2012).

With regard your other questions, yes it is easy to tether, and yes it surfs the web (well enough that I haven’t fired up the laptop since last November!)

In completely coincidental and unrelated news, I may have just authorised a fancy new projector for the office. Ahem.

I purchased a Samsung TV that almost matches the monitor on my desk, plus three months ago I left a TV aerial on my desk so now no one even looks twice at it, running the TV with my desktop in PIP mode. Sad I know but I get to watch the tour live and still look like I am working :P

I know, in true STW tradition, this isn’t quite what you asked for but have you thought about a laptop sleeve? Means you can then use any bag, I got the missus a Harris Tweed Binary one from http://www.trakke.co.uk and it’s brilliant.
