Can you angle it so it shines directly onto the cars wing mirror?

Park pedal spanner, removing pedals is now a joy, and the 4th hand tool has seen me redoing the cables on the bike for fun :D

Either lean over, or get out and walk round making sure you smile at everyone behind you in the queue

Round our way the lorry does all the work, and the driver never leaves the cab, so maybe I should tip the lorry?

As above, didn’t know there was an issue, I have a combination of cheap Argos ones and those mentioned by Rusty Mac. No problems with the Pure or Sharp DAB’s.

Not much help but I just use the Griffin one I have had for years. Just bought one of these tomtom chargers and seems to work fine as well.

Surely with a lease the bike is owned by the leasing company, can they not talk to the shop/manufacturer? Ask the leasing company for another bike as theirs is busted. If that fails just stop paying that will spur someone into action pretty quickly.

Think you have IE10 if you are running Win8, been running it for a year now and not had this problem, so a quick Google brings up

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie10-windows_8/ie-10-in-windows-8-keeps-crashing/95ffde7d-9682-4879-bcad-c7b48c93bd69

    Not sure if that helps.

My Garmin GPSMap 62s survived a trip in a river, admittedly it was only submerged for a couple of minutes, bike was nice and clean after it though :-)

Worth looking at the ex utility Connects as they come with a load of racking inside.

No experience personally, but the Mother in Law broke her foot two years ago and got the bones fused and plated. She is still in pain now, and after numerous visits to specialists they have, finally, found one of the screws has come loose and is rubbing against another bone. Also they finally discovered another hairline crack that has been missed by several xrays and a couple of MRI’s.

Just saying, although it does sound like you have had multiple opinions, one more from a fresh set of eyes can sometimes help.

Same method as Drac, just remember to keep the compass away from metal or the job takes longer

No wonder I didn’t find the entrance I was looking for it on the B9136

Yay been waiting for this, are there signposts up now? Last time I was in the area I couldn’t locate it :( ended up riding from Braemar instead so not all bad!

Just because someone flashes you to come out of a junction doesn’t abdicate you from looking both ways. Never rely on the eyesight of someone else to tell you it is safe to do anything on the road.

Plus how does he know, if he didn’t look, that the guy flashing wasn’t letting someone cross the road?

Last time this happened to us it was the motorised valve, old two way ones so one for CH and one for HW, CH one looked to be moving but wasn’t.

I must be lucky! Rode around on a Specialized BG with one busted rail for two months as didn’t have the cash to replace it, just moved the saddle back a bit and reclamped :D

Echo what Sharkbait says above, find the right blade and the DE razor shaves way closer than any multiblade (for me anyway). Shaving-shack sell tester packs of blades from various manufacturers.

Might want to have a look at Endura FS260’s but as these are the only ones I have tried my recommendation might not mean much!

Could always try Pentagon Glass if they have a place near you. Used them for the last two vans, full black limo tint on rear windows, and they do a good job.

Yeah he seems to have plenty of space in his “loft” so why not just stick his fixie in there??? Plus how come he didn’t get sued for trailing a power cable across a New York pavement?

As above. Use a bit of threaded bar or an old bolt of the right length, put a socket on the thread end backed up with a washer and bolt and wind the bushing out.

I bought one of these mainly because it charges individual batteries, not pairs of batteries, pleasantly surprised at how good the freebie batteries were that came with it. Well worth a look and all I’ll be buying in the future.

Oops, not quite as bad but have built wardrobe in hall before now, as too lazy to clear a space in the bedroom, only to find it wouldn’t go through the door. Also different wardrobe but this time built it on the floor, instructions said build upright but who reads them, tried to stand it up and took a chunk out of the ceiling

I’ve just fitted the Mucky Nutz Butt fender, goes on the saddle rails, off out tonight to see if it works. Got fed up with the Cycraguard rear hitting the tyre on descents.

I have wasted my life :( I wouldn’t of known what a Febunachi sequence was at 13 let alone spotted it in trees!
