If you mean https://www.exxpozed.co.uk/ then ordered loads from them over the years and always the same – never get any communication but it always turns up. Same with returns – they never acknowledge getting it back but the money is refunded

Add Opodo to the list – taking 90 days to refund cancelled flights when the airline have confirmed that they are refunding Opodo within 24 hours of the request being made.

    Try this link Holiday Extras

Claims to give up to 30% off but normally gives 10-15% off the on site parking. Use it all the time.

I’m booked with Avis from the airport for a week collecting in a few weeks. The only place that was cheaper was some outfit which had shocking reviews – cant remember the name.

edit – check the small print as well to make sure that the price includes the road charge (sticker thing that goes in the window). The cheaper places dont and you have to buy it on top.

It’s not that simple. Who was the airline, what were the ticketing rules and how did you book (ie online directly, with a travel agent or through an online agent like Expedia)?

I’ve been using my Revolut card for nearly a year now in about 9 countries.

The only issue has been at petrol stations where it’s machine only and they don’t take pre paid cards (which is what they are effectively). I’ve just loaded in GBP everywhere and let it auto change which definitely saves me money.

Highly recommend them. App and customer service is good too.

If you booked through a travel agent get them to argue for you – they have more power than you. If you booked privately with the airline, then argue more – they will, if you push, rebook you on partner airlines or codeshares. If you booked online with a web only agent like Opodo then good luck! Hopefully you are somewhere nice for an extra 24 hours

TBH not only have they lost a sale it now looks like Ragley have as I’m now considering a couple of other frames by other manufacturers.

    Sourced elsewhere.

So the salesperson read you exactly right – it would have been a complete waste of their time and money to get one in for you as you’re already considering other frames.

Hi op. I’m the travel agent named above (thanks for the recommendation scuttler!). If you still need help, post your email address and I’ll get in touch. I work for one of the big international companies.

Otherwise failing that, I’d agree with the Kayak suggestion. I wouldn’t use SkyScanner though.

Yes. Big fan. Try it on first as I find the sizing a bit odd and varies from model to model. Also find the shop people very knowledgable and know exactly what to suggest.

Depends where you are, what you are getting for the SC and how old the property is.

Here (in Bristol) lots of newer properties or ones with decent/lots of facilities will be around £1200-£1500 pa. £190 does seem quite high tho.

But surely local estate agents would have knowledge of what’s selling locally and would advise an asking price accordingly. They won’t earn commission on houses that don’t sell because they’ve pitched the value too high.

Nope, but they’ll get free advertising on a nice busy road with lots of passing traffic. And presence in a higher price bracket on the property portals.

Have you had it valued properly? And I’m not talking about an agent doing it.
Serious question: given that a lot of agents have Chartered Surveyors, who would you get to value a property properly?

An independent one: who isn’t working to try and get the commission for their inhouse team. Ever noticed that when a surveyor is asked by a bank to value a house and they’ve come from an estate agent, that it’s not your own or linked to your own? There’s a reason for this…

Or your own bank; it’s in their best interest to give you the most realistic price.

Have you had it valued properly? And I’m not talking about an agent doing it. I’d say its worth about £280k tops. Sorry.

    – It’s over priced by a lot.

    – Your current agent isn’t refreshing the advert often enough; they need to delete it off Zoopla and re-upload otherwise everyone will see it’s been on for nearly 18 months (!)

    – think about taking it off the market for 6 months to give it time to be forgotten.

    – the house itself is fine and I can’t see anything that will put people off offering if they liked it. But again, its overpriced by a lot.

/edit – and the advert is terrible. Get your agent to actually write about the house rather than listing each room. Drives me mad.

    That bloody music; dust everytime.

edit. Actually piss taking aside, I bet if we British drivers had dashcams on that we wouldn’t see half the courtesy or respect (especially to elderly people) that that video showed.

    the world is mad.

he gets 11 months for being naked.

a famous tv presenter gets 13 months for abusing girls as young as nine.

    This.

edit. actually he’s spent nearly 6 years in jail according to that link so apparently his crime is 6x as bad. Utter madness.

Zoopla will tell you what it has been bought over the years.

Be careful trusting Zoopla; its normally wrong especially their “valuation” prices. They get their sold data from weird sources (not always LR) and its manipulated frequently. Mouseprice is far better (just create a free account).
