we had our wedding rings designed and made for us by a local jeweller in Cwmbran, very reasonable too, plus OH got whta she wanted so less grief as she designed it so had to like it lol.

I guess most good independant jewellers will be able to help you out.

Not heard of panning for gold in North Wales – maybe true – but what if you can't find any?

Welsh gold is very expensive and usually ends up getting blended

still got my "original" first real mountain bike a Spesh Rockhopper in coral – sweet probably around 1988 -1989 vintage

Cut down bars, massive seatpost, still has ground controls, built it up from bits from my Muddy Fox courier (all white) as I bent the forks on it coming down the front of the Blorenge mountain – nutter days!!

Ol'man wouldn't buy me a new bike so bought a frame with paper round money and made my own – start of self build addictoin me thinks.

Will have to clean it up and service it and give it a blast

    One for you Landie drivers.

I was working in A&E in Taunton when this guy came in with his elbow peeled back and the bone sliced through 8O

turns out he was driving his Landie along a country lane with the obulatory elbow out of the drivers window and thought he could get past an on coming milk tanker – you guessed it – ouch

seemingly the wing mirror missed the tail board but the elbow didn't

I had mine out over 3 years ago, the pain it was causing me was unreal, I honestly contemplated suicide to end the pain, now pain such as cuts/knocks/crashes on bike feels like nothing.

It really is a pointless organ apart from concentrating bile to assist fat breakdown.

If done laparoscopic like 99% are nowadays if your on the morning list you can usually go home the sameday.

I sell laparoscopic equipment and can do a lapcoli with my eyes closed it really is quite a simple operation, the skill is removing the gallbladder from the liverbed without bursting it and getting green gunge everywhere inside, no worries if they do they just vacuum and wash it all out.

You'll only have 4 scars, 2 small ones on the right of your stomach about 5mm, 1 through top of your belly button to hide scar and one directly above your belly button about 12-15cm up around 15mm, I jsu tell folk they are stab wounds 8O

So really not bad scars at all

I observe 4-5 of these ops a week with my job

I haven't looked back since having it done.

The only side effects is the dumping syndrome – dump get it?

Yes say after a curry/Mcd's or high fat type food I find that within 30mins I have to "dump" pretty fast!!

This is something you get to live with, ie knowing where nearest toilets are when your out and about and not eating a high fat meal before a epic ride.

You'll be fine Matt303, I was back in work after a week.

    Good luck

sounds like we could arrange a wobble ride sometime??

My vote for my local would be Red Cow Inn, Llywdcoed, great beer always a guest beer on or too – The landlord Ray knows how to keep a pint and Tracey his wife is an awesome cook/chef and rustles up a good feed, hoping to establish it as a midweek ride waterhole/with scran this spring/summer

wet is the only way IMHO

hot and soapy as Radioman says a sharp razor and you can't beat it.

    Quicker than an electric too.

Shower first to soften bristles then shave and rinse ———- smooooooth

if your bikes only 3 months old try your LBS if that's where you got it from and I'm sure for a couple of quid they'll sort it, maybe even for free.

If you've done loads of riding in past 12 weeks maybe book in for a service to get it sorted – nothing worse than gears crunching on a ride.
