    Chucky (aka Vortex Racing)

I wouldn't be to happy if my misses was crawling on the bonnet of my car!!!

Wash our cars once a month tops – used to be weekly but kids and squeezing rides in are more important.

Sometimes use the carwash as only £1.50 by us and gets the worst off :-)

just replaced my genius mc40 with a Zesty 314 and boy what a difference the Zesty just wants to go faster all the time – awesome.

Also feels a lot easier to throw about and pull back into shape when things get sketchy.

My LBS Lapierre dealer was raving about how long the BB's last claiming they last a lot longer than a Shimano HT version but time will tell I guess. Same for headset I guess.

I considered a 5 but tbh I just don't like the look of them, the Zesty with its anodised bits and bobs just looks great.

The 2010 314 in brushed aluminium and black with red details looks fab

call them and explain you can't wait any longer, they should refund/cancel your order, just for customer service, in the fact that CRC would want you to buy off them in future

8am today which was great, climbed up to Skyline then back across on the single track/forestry roads to end with the fast decent into Aberdare country park – all in all about 18 miles – back for 11.30am.

really frost and foggy this morning and still pockets of snow on top.

start early 80's with a raleigh commando, then Raleigh Super burner gave me off-road bug, then mountain biking appeared and old man bought me a massive 21" Muddy fox courier which I road to death and then bought a Spesh rockhopper and built my first bike.

Then after a lay off of 15 years I started riding again last year with a Merlin Malt, then got a Scott Genius, sold Malt, built a Merida HT and just got a Zesty – so got the bug back big time – 3 bikes in the stable now

can you get a student teacher to cover you??????

or play with the gas taps again and get the lab shut down

As they say if you don't ask you don't get so give it a go, at worst they can say no.

    Good luck

and for the record Ambrose would have been an awesome teacher to have so leave off about sports jacket, it has reflective strips on it for biking duties lol

    bizarre

cant belive they wouldn't let you pay for drinks with debit card – why not if they take card payments? You do wonder why traders make it so hard when all you want to do is pay for what you have had even if it is crap!!!!

did you complain about cold food???

as for being accused of theft well if you all left – maybe, but I assume if you did go out for cash the rest of your party would have stayed for you in the pub as that's where you were returning to pay the money you owe.

Get hold of the customer services number for that chain, maybe on a reciept and log a complaint about inconvienience and poor service and quality of food.

    rant over

crap service, products really gets my back up GRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I've got Highrollers front and back on my Scott Genius, but thinking of changing when I get my new Zesty next week and give the standard conti's a go and make a decision from there.

To be honest I've been happy with highrollers seem to be able to do a bit of everything when asked so that's why they are probably a favourite as not everyone can be bothered to change tyres depending upon riding conditions me included. I just try and ride with what I've got and get on with it good or bad

A6 TDi all the way hora.

I've had every A4 since Audi started making them, and my unkle has had every A6 and a few A8's a Q7 and always goes back to an A6.

That one in ad looks ok if you can negotiate on the price a tad.

Loads of A6's about if your not spec fussy but older good ones are rare but if you look hard enough you'll find a cracker.

Passat's are great to – but not an Audi which you really want

with the rain we've had in past week I would say it's safely all gone, maybe a bit icy early on as had heavy frost last night and will be the same tonight.

So more likely to be muddy than snow and ice in places

I'm heading to glyncorrwg in the morning so maybe see you and your buddy out there!!??!!

has to be a 5 door!

3 doors are such a pain in the carparks as the doors are usually so big IMO.

have a look at Hyundai I30 or the Ceed as mentioned if you can get one 2nd hand.

New Clio looks awesome a neighbour has got one and looks really nice.

    What about a berlingo!!??!!

    valleydaddy

depends what you want it to do?

Biking vehicle – berlingo everytime, due to same points above

Overall Vehicle – I'd probably go with the focus, as more car like, faster

But I've always wanted a van so try a Berlingo and if you dont get on change it

I live with a veggie have done for past 10 years and subsequently can take it or leave it when i comes to meat.

I'm cosidering giving up red meat as since I had my gallbladder out it totally doesn't agree with me to the point the flatulance it gives me gets me down – and yes I do enjoy a fart but sometimes it's beyond a joke!!

So I am going to stop eating red meat from this point and see if that makes a difference.

I know I need to eat more fish especially the oiley variety for omega 3 so will have a serious look at our family diet and see if that can help our overall health and well being!

As for veggie's being chilled – I'd agree to a point my wife is chilled but a veggie co-worker is a time bomb that regularly pops 8O

as said use cruise control, turn off as much as you can and shop around for best deal on fuel as that will be the real cost saver
