    Considered American Classic Sprint 350s?

    £400 – 1410g

We've sold an awful lot and had no issues yet, ive got the hubs on one of my mtbs and they have been faultless, freehub design is good too, very little drag.

The mavics are always a great buy though.

One of the best FS buys on the market. We sold a LOT at £899 and were lucky enough to sell out just before pauls came in with the £825 price. Bargain – great bikes too – just taken delivery of a 2010 X2 to replace my 19c 🙂

Those Anthem X3's at Pauls for 825 are a stupid amount of bike for the money. (and thats coming from a competitor!) 😆

    Cheers TJ

As it stands at the moment they are saying the case has been entered into a 'warned list' for this particular week so i assume this means they dont have a specific date yet but its going to be at some point in this week and are confirming im available for whenever in that week it may be.

Weve got a Dune and a Dune R in stock, ive had a quick carpark spin on the Dune and it feels rather nice. Kinda DW-y makes a lot of grip and pedals well but until the Demo one comes in so i can thrash it properly thats all i can say!

You tried cranking up the opposing bolt a little tighter to relieve some pressure on the rounded bolt first?

Cant see me going FX in the near future so am happy to pay a bit more to make the jump to a f1.4 lense but still cant decided between the Nikon or the Sigma

Your not helping here guys 😆

85mm f1.4 is probably pushing the budget a tad too far but would be lovely!

    £95 for 1"1/8th though.

Winstanleys and Us do them at £84.99 which i think is as cheap as you can get in the UK – Aspire will probably be cheaper though.

The Whyte 631 will be freely availible as a frame only once they come into stock in march. I like Whyte's but 649 isnt great value!

Sola – still the Red one you want yeah? 😆

Rockplough – will echo what said above, have sold an awful lot of these and usually find the cutoff point between med/lrg around the 5'11/6ft mark. They are fairly short in the TT for a given size but there is no better test then getting you backside on a saddle as everyone has different preferences/proportions.

Not a problem, tis a bit of a horrid colour 😆

Would be able to do you a small 09 wolf frame for £700 (White 6.9/Orange 6.8). ST4 we have at 799 too but not much else around that size or price point and nothing on the horizon either!

TiBoy was just thinking about these actually:Clicky

If you interested (and it will be the colour that swings it) let me know as i might be able to free up a 16" frame. 😉

Just popped a Medium 6.9 on our scales and its 32.8lb with pedals. We had a 6.8 on demo last year and i used it a few times, certainly feel lighter than they are, fantastic fun to ride and wonderful geo if your a more aggresive rider.

Popping on a lighter set of tyres also makes a huge difference as the 2.35 minion/hr stock combo is pretty weighty.

Pedal pretty well although there is some squat when your in granny ring but bit of propedal helps with this. Having the U-Turn fork also helps on the longer climbs.

Not for everyone but if you want an aggressively orentied trail bike that will punch well above its weight when pointed downhill then they are ace 😀

Solarider – im working on the frame section later in the week!

What sort of height are you?

Got good deals on small Yeti 575s and 16" ST4's

1 Large Intense Spider FRO left 1x Medium 5.5 EVP which ill do a deal on

Got a very lightly used 20" 08 Dawg Supreme Frame going cheap and also a 2010 Anthem X Frame in Medium which has a mark so can do a little tweak.

Nothing on offer in Ti HT – just carrying the usual Ragley/Hummer stock.

    Picture is amazing.

Sound is woeful – needs to be hooked up to a external setup without question.

Ive got a 172cup (Cambelt not a problem as no AC pump!) and its been a wonderful little car. I think with the Clio's is that percentage wise there are a few more lemons kicking about. I know a few people i track with with 172/182/197 some of which just seem to have no end of problems. I assume its the same with the no RS ones. If its a solid one it will make a great value little car, although tho its always going to be a bit of a lottery that it'll be a 'duff un'.

As for the one youve been looking at id slightly weary of those wheels as it probably points towards a younger owner who is more likely to have thrashed it from cold and scrimped abit on the servicing. But if its a good deal then i wouldnt let it write the whole deal off. If its been running on 18s as well id check for any inner arch damage too.

Make sure the bonnet catch has been replaced, check for leaky sunroof and triple check all the electronics.

Exhausts are made from cheese too so at the ages your looking at if its not already been replaced it will need to be soon.

As far as i know it goes on a points based system for the number of current staff with CT qualifications. Everyone here that works in the workshop is at least L2 with a few L3s as well and we have lots of staff.

Doesnt mean much though, its all about experiance in my eyes.

Cheers for the advice guys, found a local place that did it for a similar price to the internet big boys (after you consider postage charges) but i actually spoke to a real human (who very kindly sorted out all of the borders on Ps so there were no white edges and all of the picture was still showing) and picked it up that afternoon.

    Fingers crossed she likes it!

Ive just recently started using the new 'freerider' 5:10s

    Clicky

First set i got to use on the bike and they are superb, not quite as grippy as the impacts but certainly better than any vans etc ive ever had. Certainly look a lot less 'special' too – so much so ive just bought an extra pair of the scribble ones just for general use.

Well, perhaps its me with the bad taste then!

Yeah the whole 'test bike' colour scheme is to stop dealers loading up on reduced rate demo bikes without ever planning on using them as demo's and just selling them on with the extra margin. Quite why Specialized had a lot of these all brand new boxed to sell ill don't know – got some big hits too but those look much nicer than the stock bike!

Rob – large only im afraid. Think the price should be on the website – would look but i was at work til 8.30pm sorting out bloody wethepeople bmx's so i refuse to log back in 😀

If your anywhere near Rutland your more than welcome to take my 09 Medium for a spin although i will only have it til my asr5 arrives in a few weeks.

You will struggle to find a demo bike at the moment none of the 2010 carbons have dropped yet (and the 09s sold out ages ago).

Had a spin on a customers custom build one we did last week, its pretty stiff but certainly seemed to be more compliant than my old stiffee if thats anything you can relate too.

More of a PSA than advertising this but the offer ones are nearly all gone now (sub 10 sets left and ive got 2 coming from the warehouse for me tomorrow) and once theyve gone at that price theyve gone!
