Making money from investments is a lot better than covering up child abuse.
On the list of shitty things done in the name of God, making money isn’t that high on the list.

The only way I’d get behind it is to help push it off a cliff.

I feel your pain op. I work for a builders merchants, and get the full spectrum of idiots unfortunately.
Two people spring to mind. #1. We went click and collect last April, one customer was upset by this and said ” if you don’t let me in **** shop now I’ll kick your **** head in you **** ****” A couple of days later, while out delivering, a random person said “your family deserves to get cancer” because I was working.
Needless to say, customer service isn’t my best point at the moment 😁

Jump spots come and go, it was like that thirty years ago when I was a kid, it’s still the same. Richmond council aren’t going to help.
Anyway, the kids are back a school, the amount of digging will back right off, and all you miserable old gits can stop whining about kids having fun😁

I heard the same arguments against disc brakes. Decent v’s were just as good apparently, that’s why pretty e everyone now runs discs.
I’m not going to buy now, but wireless is the future, if nothing else, it’ll improve frame design.

Still have my bike from 20 years ago hanging in the garage. Turner dhr downhill bike, now I’m on a geometron.

I’d rather hit my bikes repeatedly with a hammer than let Halfords touch them.

Morgan’s idea of free speech is being allowed to run tabloid headlines falsely accusing British soldiers of being war criminals.

All this has done a good job of outing the secret gammons though.

Think about the amount of energy wasted by the op starting his stupid trolling about ebikes thread.
Of course, he will be using a device made of recycled twigs, and powered by humanly treated hamsters, not a phone or computer made of badly mined rare metals.

I whole heartedly agree pothead. I work delivering to homes and building sites, and a hell of a lot of people are completely ignoring covid restrictions. I regularly have to tell people to step back, only to be called a sheep or a ****. Several of our customers have bragged about how they’ve turned their garages into pubs, and have their mates round at the weekend.
But you guys carry on slagging off people who aren’t actually breaking any rules, and are just trying to make a living.

Are you volunteering to pay his bills then? He’s got a young baby to pay for. Or, you could mind your own business and get on with life

The level of bell endery on this thread is spectacular. He’s doing his job, for right or wrong he’s allowed to. Some of you remind me of the lovely women last April, who told me “I hope your family get cancer” when I was delivering to one of her neighbours. Seriously, **** off you self righteous boomer ****. People have to earn a living, not all of us can work from home or claim furlough.

So did I, (thought we were in a pandemic) but I still spend five days a week driving around delivering things. The world goes on, and people still have bills to pay. I’m pretty sure he can’t get furlough 😁

I went out on my ebike today. I ran over three squirrels, two dogs, kicked over a small child and knocked off six people on their old fashioned bikes.

If you deliberately “tap” my rear tyre (and I don’t know you) I’ll be going full mark renshaw on you when you pass.
On the flip side, I’ve had riders deliberately hold me up, literally looking over their shoulder and moving across in front of me. Some people are just ****.

Just got back, and everything is frozen and feels like concrete. Before that though, all the trails had suffered from a lot of traffic.

I’m 6’1″ and ride an s4 kenevo with 490mm reach, but my normal bike is a large geometron with 510 reach😁 So I might have sized down a bit, but it’s still a big bike. I did test ride the S3 a few times, and just found it a bit small coming from the geometron.

A new life in the sun will be replaced by “a new life at the Amazon warehouse” This will mainly involve people getting worked into an early grave, while the viewers, older retired people who voted for this say “it was much harder for us back in the day”

What the **** are you on about @nobeerinthefridge ? I was talking about the people I see regularly in Surrey. Were you with me? No. So **** off.
Stop trying to twist words so you can imagine your some “big hitter” on a bike forum.

If any of the judgemental knob heads on this forum did that, I’d say they’re idiots. What you’re forgetting is, Brendan can ride a bike a lot better than you can possibly imagine.
Now, i suggest some of step away from the keyboards, as you might cut a pinky on it😉

This is isn’t meeting for a chat, this is clearly several households meeting to “exercise” together. Their choice though, I follow the rules to protect my family, up to other people what they do.

If you think this is bad, come to Surrey. The whole world seem to be meeting up to socialize, sorry, exercise, while drinking coffee together.

A few years ago, Lance went out at Christmas for a few drinks. He got drunk, crashed his large SUV into a parked car, then proceeded to swap seats with his girlfriend, in an attempt to get her to take the blame.
I don’t really care if someone cheated in a bicycle race, but one thing is clear, Lance Armstrong is a complete and utter ****. If you wish to defend him, try and defend him for being a drink driver who tries to frame his Mrs.

And if you look further than Google maps, you’ll find the area being tested is a tiny fraction of gu21, and most of what Google says is gu21, isn’t.

Please do ayjay. I drove past Virginia water lake the other week, the car park had to be shut, because it was full. About 3000 cars.
And I don’t deliver food, I deliver crap for people who are bored on furlough to do up their garden with.

Well, I live in GU21, (one of the areas being tested) and work in GU22. I’ve been told I HAVE to come to work. I work as a delivery driver😳

Didn’t visa card services go down a while ago? Going cashless is great, until there is some kind of network or software issue.
Also, if we went completely cashless, I’d bet a crisp £20 note, the banks will suddenly put their charges up.
