Well, I’ve just got back from a 4 hour MTB ride with a helmet on. Tomorrow morning, I’ll get up and do my 30 minute cycle commute down a tow path, without one. Time and a place.

Yep, get on with is apparently the governments line according to my employer. We’ve been told we can come to  work with COVID, and won’t get sick pay if we don’t. My boss criticized people for taking COVID tests.

I work as an HGV driver for a builders merchants, and had some lovely online training today. They showed a video of a lorry driver, who was completely at fault, left hooking a cyclist, and very nearly taking them out. The head of transport then said, “I hate cyclists, that just get in the **** way”
