    Could be.

Mate of mine had a M4 lever inserted in his thigh. It just missed the family jewels and arteries.

I have a gps log of my mates journey on that section. It zigs zags on and off for most of the way. The track is hard to follow and disappears at times. He had an epic as a result.

The Uturn is a fairly simple bit of kit. It works well.

Get the DHX 5 coil. Way better for the heckler.

Met kaos UL can be had for £80 – very light and well vented. I don't notice mine when I'm riding and its miles better than my old Giro Hex.

+1 on that. Had several Xens. For my head Kaos much better fit and better ventilated.

    Currently have –

Glenmorangie – was on offer at Tescos a couple of weeks back. Nice and smooth
Monkey Shoulder – not a single malt but a blend of 3 single malts. Very nice indeed, again another smooth one
    Ledaig- smokey and peaty

I use a nalgene bladder (same as the osprey ones but 1/2 the price). Way better than the camelbak ones. After a fews days with water left in it my camelbak ones start going gunky. Never been an issue with the nalgene ones.

Dead easy. Just sit down in the middle, swing your legs up and round and you're in.

TTTM have a deal on for the single hammocks in a single colour

    http://www.ticketothemoon.com/en/single-color-hammocks.html

Never been hit with customs charges and they arrived in a matter of days.

    Go to http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/?

I'm 6ft 1 and use a Ticket to the moon (TTTM) double hammock or my Warbonnet Blackbird. Both great for my height. Far more comfortable than a tent and sleeping on the floor. Stay away from mesh hammocks as they aren't very comfortable for overnighters. Get a good gathered end parachute hammock like TTTM, DD or Nomad ones from ebay.

You'll need some bottom inuslation as a sleeping bag gets compressed beneath you and offers little insulation. This can be either an underquilt/blanket or a sleeping mat.

Went back last week first time was over a year ago, anyway if I went back again would stick to the red it was more more fun than the black, mostly because there is no obvious way to get back to the red after the black. Oh and the pointless climb in the middle to only come back down what's that all about?

After completing the black section with steep entry and few drop offs, back along the road and I think its the second right. Slog back up the fire track back to the red descent with the big berms and all the woodwork.

That helps a great deal thanks. We dont do anything special to keep the prices down. We do however has a boiler that was fitted 2 yrs ago and low energy light bulbs everywhere we can. SO has a tendency to like lots of lamps on in the house. £60 is probably too much for us to pay, over last few years we had built up £500 in credit!!!

    We are with Scottish Electric/Gas
