Sisters Fiancee drives for google. I know he had spent most of last year filling in gaps. I suspect they must have had a quick spin round and missed a fair bit before getting other areas filled in.

He also can’t take shots when its raining as the camera isn’t fully waterproof.

Depends what you plan to do long term. Sit on tops seem to be holding there value well. For a bit of a splash around they are pretty good.

The top pic is a bit of a temporary measure until I can put down the work and get out on the water taking pics again.

Thanks for the feedback so far. The more the better.

I wish to buy the land, just wondering how much to expect. A solicitor will be on standby to do the paper work to add the land onto our deeds. I have done that before with a piece of yard that I owned and had it added to the deeds of the house. It didn’t cost much.

I took ages to decided and ended up going for my original choice of a cotic soul. Built it fairly tough but single ring up front with an e13 chain guide. Very nice to ride.

How did you find having the stuff sac slung on top of the bars? It seems like a pretty logical solution.

Although the new framework for inspection is not due to start until the new year, all indicators point to inspections this term being “in the spirit” of the new framework.

This means that it will be very tough to get good. I know of several SLT folk who have been through the pilots and many staff have dropped a grade or even two based on the new criteria.

The new alpkit pads are very good. I have been using one for the past few months. Thermarest have a new neoair out as well

The down bags from tesco look OK. Our local hypermarket is selling all the camping stuff on the cheap. They also had a few garmin forerunners in the sale for sub £100

I love my new marmot one. Loads of room enough for a winter down bag plus more, but only come in REALLY bright colours.

Around here the GTP prog and PGCE have been churning PE staff out for the last 8 years. There is a serious glut of PE staff (and IT for that matter).

Being able to teach a second subject will be a good way of securing a post especially if its a shortage subject like English.

Trying to find a permanent position now will be quiet difficult, the big push for recruiting will start again later in the year. If your friend is willing to relocate (even just for her NQT year) it would be make the chance of securing an interview that little bit greater.

The thread was about making stoves out of coke cans and sleeping rough.

That pretty much sums it up! But it is a lot more fun than it sounds.

Was asked by a girl at Uni to move in with her on a narrow boat. Never came off in the end but always thought it would be pretty cool. It was also going to be super cheap.

Abus make some interesting bags for carrying there rather weighty bike security chains. i stubbled upon them on Wiggle. Not a bad price.

Do Rab quote US fill power now! Damn statistics.

I have a couple of Rab bags. A trip to the factory shop is always worth while. This one cost me less than 1/2 price some time early last year.

Do they not normally come with rear ‘lecce windows?
    Not the pre-FL, I don’t think.

This was an optional extra but then Skoda UK added it to all new cars during 2007.

Look out fro ones that have a Jumbo box. This is the central console that runs through the car. It contains AC ducts for the back of the car. Cars that have this will also have the rear electric windows.

I’ve been running a 57 plate VRS TDI hatch for almost 4yrs. Its the longest I have ever owned a car. Which says a great deal about how good the cars are.

Watch out for delaminating windscreens, common issue on the Octavia and some Audis. You get a pasty white band at the bottom of the windscreen. This can happen to front or back.

Cruise control can be added for just over £100.
