Stayed here once, was OK, new set up then and flawed in many ways and owners seemed a bit ignorant to what bunkhousers/mtbers wanted, but I heard recently they’ve changed/upgraded some things. They had some really firm looking bike storage.

My mother would have said alcohol was necassary to get through many of my Primary School events. But she sat in the naughty row at the back sniggering with the other naughty mums.

Angus used to get shouder deep in the bin sometimes, so much so I could sneak in right up behind him without him hearing me. Then Yell REALLY LOUD “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?” and watch him leap back, bump into me, realise the bin lid is stuck on his shoulders, send the bin flying, try to run out of the kitchen only to find the gap between the dishwasher and the cooker is too narrow for the bin lid and only then as a desperate last resort try to look totally innocent as if the bin attacked him.

Thing is the look on his face as he realised that even his looks of innocence weren’t enough always cracks me into laughter so I can’t stay angry at him.

Maybe comparing 26″ 650b and 29ers, kill the debate once and for all.

Last year it went from aweful to something with real promise very quickly when you consider how fast it was thrown together, so I have some real hope. For structure alone, TG is a great example. They have 5 sections pretty much, and “The News”. That works well, allows an amount of deapth but if its not something you personally care about then its only 8 minutes or so. I wouldn’t try to turn it into TG< but a few challange type segments might be good. Coast2Coast is a great idea as that’s something alot of people, even none cyclists, do.

No, the BBC reports ARE a massive troll, as they misuse the word and I’m always 4 paragraphs into a massive rant before I realise what’s happened. They use to describe online bullying/stalking. Troll is aimed at a community, not an individual. The moment you start to target an individual you step outside trolling. Richard Bacon doesn’t ‘have’ a troll, this perpetuated ignorance just because the word sounds good – AHHHHH… nope its happened again hasn’t it.

Yeah FSRs come in aluminium, the Evo is base model. I’d look at Meta SLs though, some bargainous prices on CRC last time I looked as everyones getting AM/SXs.

This is what will happen.

If you send it back to them at your own costs they will take it. So they may do you a deal to save the bother. Ring them, not email, email guys tend not to take on board the nuance of the situation.

I did a similar thing last year, bought the Meta frameset in the sale, then the next day they massively reduced the VIP Factory Frame Kit (as above Plus reverb, saddle, fork, bars, stem, headset etc). So I bought that despite it being too late to cancel the frame. I was all ready to send back the first frame, when I opened the second one to find it had the wrong frame in… In the end they let me send back the wrong frame (a Supreme DH), and keep the meta AM. But I had to call and explain to a dude, emailing just got me a stock answer that missed the point.

Nothing fills you such unadulterated hatred as uncensored exposure to the general public…

That said sharing this makes me feel a bit of a w*nk.
