No, I don’t like much over 35 tbh.

Will add some tape and see how we go. tbh the advantage does feel a little loose, is quite easy to put on/off.

I fully expect to drop off a curb tomorrow now and get blown off

I had just said how since going to the advantage I’d not had a repeat of the tubeless go pop… then we set off down the trail, and at the bottom…

No, well, a bit, I’m [willfully] believing the marketing of Flow Ex that I didn’t need to… 😳

Really wasn’t giving it that much beans, first time was stainburn, a few scratches but luckily end of rough section just into a rough corner, yesterday was soft woodland trail at about 10mph. I was able to stop within 3 or 4 metres

    Sorry these are Flow Ex.

More more **** about then, beefier sidewalls order of the day, until then, more air.

Yeah single ply and about 30. Its just mad they’ve gone when they have and not at other more provocative moments, casing an attempted double between 2 rollers, 4 -6 foot drops, big rock gardens. No – straight line, small drops I was barely thinking about.

Its odd, now I think about my riding, theres a kicker I hit often where I through the back out to land into a berm, that seems ripe for bangses, angle, harder landing… no its an inocous little lip into smooth woodland path that does it… 😕

Is true, but the episode of Spongebob where they did was never shown on grounds of deeply traumatising the test audience, of 6 yr olds.

OK, I don’t about anyone else, but when I get a little panic on, had one yesterday as some traffic light on either side of a road in Harrogate gave conflicting signals (they’ve been rejigged for the Yorkshire Show and these seem to have gone a doo-la), but in that and other instances, my feet go for the brakes, and the clutch. That’s the instinctive reaction isn’t it? I don’t out of panic perform some elaborate and legally dubious escape manouvre.

    Am I doing it wrong?

That’s good, striking, beautifully presented, but I suspect (as is often the case at the fine dining end of the spectrum), tiny and lacking in stodge.

At a pub in buckinghamshire that had ideas above its station last year I was presented with a burger, the size of a pot of Assos, with a few chips scattered about it, interspersed with three leaves of rocket on a plate the size of a chess board. Cost 3 times as much as 3 times as much food does at my old local in leeds.

h4muf & momo winning for wetting loose my wallet latch in anticipation.

Mine will be getting pikes to begin with, but like above, since getting lyriks (and floodgate modding them) old pikes are begin to show their limitations. So we shall see. Will be a shame, pushed, coil, very nice. But things have come on…

Oh, none tapered. Its early, I just spent a about 30 seconds wondering how a bendy steerer would work… One for ST next April 1st there.

    Wow!

“The Cyclist I hit had the audacity to shout at me! Can you believe it? I was so shocked I ploughed my bike onto the pavement, through some pedestrians, then along this wall and, errr, into that bus.”

Yup seems reasonable. What did the cyclist say that was so shocking? Must have been pretty witty and scathing. I mean if its just “What are you doing you bloody idiot” I’m going to be disappointed…

I’ll tell you what I don’t ride to Bond Music. I did that once, I was lucky to get home alive, just made me believe I was capable of stoopid things I was not. Fun to begin with, but i got out of hand buy the time Living Daylights and You Know My Name came on.

I like VHS Head, Vitalic, Four tet, electronica basically.

People do wear them at Stainburn, then ride round half the tech… 😕 I’m more worried about shoulder/arm/wrists than face, but then I’ve never really been fighting them off.

    flange

When bored I teach other people’s kids that flange is a swear. They go back and start calling their simblings it. Endless fun.

Just William shocked me by ejaculating several times in one book.

    Incredulity : is my offering.

No, Pip is Satan, wearing a girl-suit.

They should not do children, they’re no good at it. Daniel as a child was horrific.

I’m just not about enough at the moment to catch it, and since my mum died my usual source of catching up when I miss stuff is gone too.

What happened to Chris? Last I heard he got got kicked in the knackers by an angry horse. How is Lillian going to find out?

Helen would be right at the front of the queue for people to be marched up to the roof of Lower Loxley and made to do a particularly fiddly banner if I had my way.

I sort of hate it, but can’t help myself… But I need a thorough 3 month catch up to work out what’s really going on at present to be honest.

36 by 11 – 36 here. Its great, front mechs are the devil!

No guide on either courtesy of works.

1 X 10 really is the new single speed isn’t it, so many threads a the moment.

I got away with clutch no device for a quite a while with only very occasional drops, but as above, if you want it to really work get a thin/thick ring.

Its the weather. I’m out in the dales and our radio goes awful in this weather, chaising the frequency about and lots of interference from other stations that are drifting off their bandwidth. I really doubt we have 4G.

The silly expensive bike review is a criticism that could easily be made of top gear with their constant super car obsession…

true, but Top gear would say whether one car worth a hefty lump more than another is actually worth the money. They would say if the fact it has this engine, and these breaks, is good, though to his credit a little bit of emotion came through on the electronic shifting, but not much. Often they say they wouldn’t bother with the extra spend, too many nobs and twiddles etc.

In their defence harder to do a review to camera cycling than driving on a private track.

I think its come on, and my criticism is only because I think there is a good show in there somewhere, getting ever closer. The overall structure was better, getting out of London is a great idea, coming to Yorkshire given the Tour next year is great. End of the day they have to a straddle a very difficult line trying to please enthusiasts and mildly interested hobbyists alike. Getting there. I will be watching next week.

what tyres for 100mph in half a shed?

OK, Show saved by the C2W guy, that was good, honest, and genuine.

But I’ve been a bit mean about the bike test, seriously, one is better than the other, even if its for one reason, and worse for another. Lazy cop out right there. But the format of the show feels tidier, less rushed and more considered.

    Gonefishin + another 1.

This need for immediate gratification with honours isn’t very nice IMO. He won, and his reward for that was the cup/plate whatever and the money.

Well I hope to find one near Nidderdale/Ripon/Harrogate I can sit on to see, but I am 6ft 2 and little little bit, so it seems likely…

That looks a bit lovely though…

Fun BTW is exactly, what I’m after and no longer get from the 456SS

I go by DIY myself, but am happier doing that knowing if it all goes horribly wrong and can pack it off to LoCo with a note confession my unworthiness. 😀

Lowers service is a 30 minute job, and well worth getting into the habit of doing. Not sure what you’d need a drift for unless bushes. that’s something I’ve drawn the line at and is for me when they go to the pros.

Traffic joining from the right with no interuption to cycle lane was one I got a few times on my commute in Leeds, always a bit irritating, it was a long wait, that was always tempting. But likeise most of what I saw by way of RLJ seemed idle, unthinking, laziness rather than considered acts.

Yup, I found even just with normal chainring the clutch mech massively reduced the drops, but I would still get the occasional one. Now with the works ring I did my very very best to drop the chain at Stainburn Yesterday. I really did. Nothing.

Soft with just slow of middle rebound here. though since popping the floodgate out of my lyriks I feel the need to tweak the rear end in an effort to match the loveliness up front.

See you’re just trying to get my hopes up. I may one last fiddle, but its not the BB, I’ve swapped it out for a spare. Even found myself checking the frame in case BB shall cracked, cos that would be better ❓ – I’ve more or less decided to replace the summer season with a BFe no anyway, so wouldn’t mind getting some cranks as part of that operation really.
