Way to ruin an attractive car.

It would be, but as luck would have it they did it to a pig ugly dumbell of a car. So it’s fine.

However the mpg would cause serious issues for a world were you could no longer rely on refineries. For the zombie apocalypse I’d by looking for something lighter and more efficient.

I have an old Vax V800 (?) that I keep for nasty jobs, first sweep at car etc, if I’m using that for any period of time I pop ear plugs in.

The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game is fantastic fun, but should only be played with good friends, as otherwise you will fall out. Family would be a risk.

It has a finite length, which is good I think, some can run forever.

I’m near to Stourport and could go and knock on his door for you.

Be sure to take friends, and all the Tiki torches from your garden, they are now the standard mob implement.

    Pitchforks are soooooo 2016.

I got mine with no tokens, found I was adjusting pressure constantly. Up to not dive, down for small bump sensitivity. 2 tokens now and they’re pretty good.

Think I still prefer my coil Lyrik RC2 with the floodgate removed though.

It’ll either be Rosé or Cava

I’m surprised she isn;t being inundated with bottom of the range Prosecco.

For me a half decent cava would be a win, if never get offered prosecco again it will be too soon.

Also tyre wear. You’d have to keep swapping to ensure matching absolute diameters.

Thomson Elite? They’re a bit nice.

    No.

Yes all those things happen to me, but if the bike industry redesigns them they won’t work with existing pump, they will take special shimano tire jelly not air, and for some inexplicable reason necessitate the buying of a whole new bike.

Just recently built up a 45650b and it is preposterously good fun, I find I’m standing to riding everything, not because its isn’t comfortable to sit and ride, but it just makes me want to give all the beans, all the time. Doing wonders for my fitness. I only bought the 456 frame to hang the bits on but currently thinking I’m keeping it.

Smashed a load of PBs on local descents, wasn’t even trying. Friend just got a Morph, and he’s similar, riding behind him his whole riding style has changed, much less passive, much more engaged, and he keeps giggling for no immediately apparent reason.

All depends what stage the tick is in. In the early stages they are tiny and hard to spot.

That’s quite interesting, they don’t look much the ones we get, they are tiny!

Here’s angus’ latest aquisition on a 10p coin.

Thanks angus… in fariness, this it at the top of the scale, though it has shrunk slightly with the pickling. Almost too big for the big tick removal tool.

OP, get a tick removal tool, its only a matter of time – you and ferdinand with appreciate it when it happens.

**** ticks and all of their kind. That is all

    ^this + a million!

    less than 3mm? HA! bollocks.

This fella getting on for 1cm. Mind you my mighty hound is probably very tasty and moreish.

less than 3mm would be unfed.

he has been collecting and feeding up some revoltingly massive ticks this year though.

    There two types of tick, this is one, the other is blue, hilarious, and played by Peter Serofinowich{no way is that spelt right}

Pork pies come from Melton Mowbray. Nowhere else.

    Pah!

On the subject of stupendously good local foods the rest of the country doesn’t know about…

… As you were. Nothing to see here.

I am so surprised by the silent treatment I’m now receiving, was it supposed to go unspoken forever? It’s flipping obvious

And you should tell her that in exactly those words and then live blog what happens next. #fetchespopcorn

The breed is a key factor. Some dogs are extremely happy to be left, live stock guard dogs for example will view looking after the house as their job. Other breeds may need more stimulus and interaction. Such as a dog walker who will run them, pay and tire them out. Then the afternoon alone will serve a purpose of rest.

Just understand when you get home tied from work they are legitimately recharged and ready to go.

Very Proud of being From Yorkshire. It is specifically where I am from.

Not at all fond of being ‘english’, not one I associate with, not a label I like, not something I find many positives in tbh.

Quite happy with the British label, I feel the broader inclusion, the bunch of people who mock each other quite harshly, like a good bunch of mates who only bicker because of how much time we spend together, I’d like to see it as an identity be less “London and pals” though.

Very proud to be European, such a mix, such a mix of food, music, culture, landscape. A chequered history but one which I think is informative and gives us much to learn from.

Quite proud to be from Earth, I think we’re doing OK, when you look at where we came from, long way to go, hungry people etc. Come on chaps sort it out.

I’ve not had time to think too much about how I feel about the solor system, I think some other planets let us down. I’m looking at you here Neptune, get your shit together.

The whole case has made me wonder if perhaps it would make sense to simply extend the scope of dangerous/careless driving to include injuries or deaths caused by cyclists, bear with me; it’s a road going vehicle the use of which is governed by the same acts and regulations. Plus we’re told causing death by dangerous driving carries the same weight as a manslaughter charge which apparently you can be charged with in connection to a cycling collision. It arguably puts cyclists on an even footing with drivers as the law recognises us as having equal responsibility/culpability for our actions…

Husband just on the Today Programme suggesting the same thing, Very reasonably, and very calmly.

    Maybe he’s right. :|

How did the end of that forgettable film leave the characters? Didn’t the town blow up or something

I liked the film. It left a few dead characters and all the actors dead. Jeremy in a Coma, and everyone had tails.

    Oh Come on!!! What? When?

I just wrote a Page on Beryl Burton, and triple checked she was still the record holder. That was 2 hours ago. God Damn You Lethbridge…

I mean well done and stuff… but seriously that must have happened as I was writing it.

Burton didn’t just beat the men’s, she was doing hers at the same time, overtook him, and gave him a liquorice allsort as she did so. Or at least that’s the story, I like it so it went in the page.

Always double cook lasagne, its better the second time.

Are we just letting this go?

Who has this much self control? Cook a lasagne, let it cool… uneaten, filling the kitchen with smells of lasagneygoodness, emanating from its untarnished crust? Gentle tongues of cheesey steam wafting from its surface tantalising your brain. Rich meaty ragu giving you the eye from under its velvety pasta nightdress, saying “Go on, you know you want to”.

Ignore all that and let it go cold.

And then cook it again? and only then consider eating it?

I’m sure other bits toof. It’s just that’s the bit I frequent.
